Finally: Restaurant Offers a "My Girlfriend Isn't Hungry" Side-Dish, Consisting of Extra Wings or Fries Which Your Supposedly Not-Hungry Girlfriend Is Of Course Not Going to Eat
This is one of the most annoying moves ever.
Women should not do this. We aren't impressed with the "I'm not hungry" move even if you're actually not hungry. If the idea is to subliminally suggest a diet, well, proof is in the doing, not the saying.
The "I'm not hungry, but oh what a shock it turns out I'm hungry after all and I'm going to eat just slightly less than half your food" move is even less impressive. No one is fooled by the Hypothetical Diet scam. It's been run on us for years, we're hip to the grift.
But a restaurant has a fix.
It's a tale as old as time: Boyfriend takes girlfriend out to eat, girlfriend claims she's "not hungry" -- and then proceeds to eat half of the boyfriend's meal.
Social media users have dubbed it "date night food-theft" -- and in Arkansas, there seems to finally be a solution.
A restaurant called Mama D's, in North Little Rock, has been serving a menu item known as the "My Girlfriend is Not Hungry," which adds "extra french fries to your entree, and fried chicken wings (2) or fried cheese sticks (3)."
