What's Wrong With New Jersey: In Microcosm
It's a crowded parking lot, and the social compact expects most normal sentient humans to respect the constraints of parking when it is a bit tight, and not be a total fvcking ass and not bother to spend another 10 seconds straightening out your car.
But this is a member of the vaunted New Jersey Legislature, and they have a sense of entitlement and power and authority that is so vast as to shock the sensibilities of the normal human being. They know better in all matters, they come first in all social interaction. Put simply, they are the philosopher kings of the Eastern Seaboard.
And you can tell that they are marvelous human beings in every respect by the bang-up job they are doing for New Jersey, which recently came in 50th in a poll of most patriotic states, has unbelievably awful roads, decaying infrastructure, a pathetically bad public transportation system, obscenely high taxes, and to top it all off, the state is running a shockingly high debt.
Is parking like an ass a big deal? Yes, because this douchebag is proclaiming his position in the New Jersey Royal Family with his pompous license plate. The least he could do is not behave like an elitist, looking down on the peasants.
I don't know who he is, and I don't particularly care. All I want is the opportunity to vote against him, and since this photo was taken in my county, I have a fair chance of being represented by this reprehensible piece of shit.
