Trump's Accuser Seems Bananas; David French Believes Her Implicitly, Because of Course He Does

Nothing weird about talking about how sexy rape is, just before flirting hard with a Gay Man.

John Nolte writes about this fake news lunacy:

The slow-motion trainwreck that has come to define Trump-accuser E. Jean Carroll's publicity blitz has been painful to watch, one more example of our corrupt media -- as a means to smear Trump -- psychologically abusing someone who is obviously unwell and unreliable.

Things finally came to a head on Monday night when Carroll slurred something so outrageous even CNN's basement-rated Anderson Cooper was speechless.

"I think most people think of rape as being sexy -- think of the fantasies," she said.

To begin with, her nearly 25-year-old accusation against Trump, her claim he raped her (although she now says it wasn't rape, but a "fight") at Bergdorf Goodman Department Store in Manhattan, is ludicrous.

Rape?

In a department store?

In Manhattan?

Are you kidding me?

One scream and Trump’s entire life would have been over.

If that isn't ludicrous enough, when she was asked last week if she would press assault charges against Trump, she told MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell that doing so would be "disrespectful to the women who are down on the border who are being raped around the clock down there without any protection."

"The women have very little protection there," she added. "It would just be disrespectful." And then she rambled on about all the rapes all around the world and how her bringing charges against Trump "just doesn’t make sense to me."

Well, that's not an answer. It is, though, the most awkward pivot to a left-wing political talking point in the history of cable news.

David French, who sanctimoniously lectured everyone about the need for evidence in these situations in the case of a man of his profession and caste, Brett Kavanaugh, now sanctimoniously lectures everyone about the need to believe this accuser without any evidence at all, Because Trump.

He also attacks Republicans, as usual. Because he's a True Conservative.

David French just began writing The Conservative Case for Sexy Sexual Assault.

So French is doing what liberals do -- they believe the accusations about the people they don't like, and they disbelieve the accusations about the people they like, and then they sanctimoniously attack everyone else for not sharing their biases.

But he's a True Conservative. Just ask xim!

I guess David French can just magically divine which accusers telling hard to believe stories without any evidence we should believe, and which we must not believe.

Incidentally, Brett Kavanaugh had multiple accusers too.

They were lying. It was a political pile-on.

But David French, important conservative intellectual, is incapable of learning.

She seems to think about physically coerced by a man a lot, and she seems to think about it strangely positively.

The bizarre exchange occurred during a 1995 appearance by Carroll on Charlie Rose’s show. The topic of conversation veered into how, according to Carroll, women were obsessed with men.

During the taping, fellow guest Jimmy Breslin commented, 'Yeah but there's a lot of rules, you can’t walk out of a cave with a club and drag a woman back."

"Jimmy, women love that!" remarked Carroll.

She then asked Charlie Rose: "When was the last time you took a big old club….?"
