"You know they say that a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged by reality. I think the same can be applied to NeverTrumpers. It looks like bitter clinger Erick Erickson may have just took a hard shot to the head and woke up in an alley without his watch and wallet. At the end of May, his Twitter account was temporarily suspended. What did he do? He made a joke about Fauxcahontas Warren's fake ancestry claims and this was deemed "hateful conduct" by the TwitterStasi and thus a rules violation. Now, Erick has always been a mainstream, even a bit of a milquetoast conservative who only gets angry by something really outrageous, like, say, Donald Trump being elected president. And he watched 'fringe' figures like Alex Jones and Laura Southern deplatformed on various social media and thought, hey, they're icky fringe people, so it's a good thing that they got the heave-ho. We don't want those types stinking things up for us PureCons, anyway. So I don't think it ever entered his head that Twitter would lower the boom on him. This may have triggered Erick to write this rant a few days later. It's basically an apologetic for Trump calling for a boycott of AT&T because of CNN's outrageously biased and unfair news coverage. Because AT&T owns Warner which owns CNN. Erickson says he doesn't like it, but he can't fault the president for playing by the rules the left has laid down. In fact, he's sounding like a milder version of Kurt Schlichter in his newly-acquired view that if the left is using brass knuckles, then the right should, too. He says, quote, if anything, the President should escalate this fight with AT&T. The company wanted Warner so badly, the President should make them regret it. Unquote. Now we can all jeer at Erickson for being a johnny-come-lately, and hey, I won't deny that would be fun. However, as Ben Franklin once said, experience is an expensive school, but some men will learn at no other. So let's not begrudge Erickson having to learn things the hard way. Nobody is irredeemable."

Monday's celebs: Beverly Garland and Rory Calhoun

Ms. Garland's résumé’ is a mile long, extending from 1949 to 2004. She did some 50s B-movies and horror films, but was better than that. She had a starring role in the 1957 TV series Decoy in about 1959-60, playing an undercover policewoman, the first police drama featuring a female lead. All 39 episodes of this series are available on Amazon Prime, which is how she first came to my attention. It's actually not bad, and the supposed "sexism" that the SJWs would expect is completely absent. She did her job as a cop, and the male cops respected her and worked with her.

Calhoun did a butt ton of westerns, including one with Ms. Garland, The Saga of Hemp Brown, which was why I picked him for 'ette bait. I know him mostly from Motel Hell, a f*ed up horror movie I genuinely regret watching. Not because of Calhoun, but because it was f*ed up.

Satrose's husband of 25 years, going to church for past 6 months after never having attended. He is seeking God. She's been praying for him every day for 23 years. Asked for prayers that Sam might accept the Holy Spirit's prompting for salvation.

Tony In Tampa that his 92 grandmother has been released from managed care to her home after having a stroke. She made remarkable progress which is a “gift from God.” Tony wanted to send regards and thanks to all who prayed.

He had final follow up with surgical team Waiting for treatment for lung embolism so he can hopefully go for reversal of colostomy surgery in 3 to 6 months. Prayers for complete healing and strength for Mrs. Eez who has been carrying the load while he’s been sick.

5/27-Old Dog in Missouri's wife has come home as of last update Fenelon had. Prayers for complete healing for her from cancer and strength for dear Old Dog and his daughter who are with her around the clock.

5/1-Please continue to keep Slapweasel in prayer for a transplant donor and for strength for his caring for his parents.

5/1-Cheribebe says cancer is spreading. She needs new cancer chemo regimen which is very expensive and asks for prayers to God for healing as well as help regarding finances.

5/13 Hrothgar’s friend, a hospice counselor exposed to muriatic acid fumes which damaged lungs and throat. Getting trouble in seeing a competent physician and still having effects from previous car accident-not her fault. Prayers for access to health care and speedy recover.

5/13-Fox2! friend MaryBeth just diagnosed with aggressive form of bladder cancer-not best candidate for best option of Immunotherapy treatment.

5/14-Grumpy’s friend Rhett fell off roof, broke 3 ribs and wrist and has lacerated liver. Now in rehab. Needs prayers for healing.

5/14-Kraken’s friend died, and Kraken’s dog of 12 years died as well. Prayers for all concerned.

5/14-Tami’s daughter had cancer surgery, Prayers for complete healing.

5/21 VN Red Leg Recently had prostrate removed. Surgery was successful but cancer has gotten into lymph nodes. Waiting until July 1st for next PSA test to see if he needs radiation and hormone therapy, Will be meeting with doctor and nurse on 30th to discuss next step. Praying for mercy and healing.

5/25-browndog had a clean bone and CAT scan. Cancer confined to prostate. Can put off treatment until later in the year, allowing him to finish power lifting career. He thanks everyone for their prayers and thoughts for healing.

5/27-Old Dog in Missouri's wife hasn't been able to be discharged after last procedure. She hasn't had real food for the last 3 months and has been in hospital for so long. Prayers for complete healing for her from cancer and strength for dear Old Dog and his daughter who are with her around the clock.

5/27-redc1c4s Dad getting radiation and aggressive chemo for multiple myeloma at City of Hope. Short term prognosis is unknown. Long term prognosis is "terminal." Prayers for wisdom and insight for doctors, strength and healing for he and his family. Prostate cancer is next on list if multiple myeloma can be dealt with.

5/27 Texican-ette asked for prayers for her BF who is having a breast biopsy next week and is very scared. Prayers for the calming presence of God with her and good news.

5-28-Bye Gone asked for prayer for friend Scott M. recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and needs a miracle of healing.

5-28-Fixerupper's mother, Dorothy, is having kidney function issues and will need to start dialysis if specialist can't improve kidney function. Prayers for complete healing.
