The Morning Rant: Minimalist Edition

On Sunday evening, in the midst of some fine grilled sausages and American hot dogs (with a side of fried chicken), I was shocked to hear one of the millennials around the table complain loudly and at length about how unbelievably stupid and embarrassing Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is! He is typical of his variety, and I despair (or cringe) whenever I hear him speak of politics, but if Alexandria Donkey-Chompers can infuriate even him with her ignorance and arrogance and destructive political instincts, then there is hope for the world!

WOKE LEVEL 10: AOC claims cauliflower are 'colonializers'

Apparently there are culturally appropriate plants...and culturally inappropriate plants. I had no idea! I always thought that people could grow whatever the hell they felt like, and origins be damned. Yes, yes, our current farm policy is a mess, but at least the Feds don't have a list of approved plants depending on the ethnicity of the farmer or backyard gardener.

Although, I think in Alexandria Donkey-Chompers snake-pit head she has an image of millions of little plots of land, tended lovingly by community groups and policed by cadres of politically correct brownshirts carrying hoes. This will replace our current system of incredibly efficient food production, and will bring all of us closer to the land and Gaia, which is good, because her plans will crater the economy and we will be more like Caracas than Pittsburgh.

As much as I would love to see a primary challenger rip her to shreds (and I am not sure that is plausible), she might be more valuable to the conservative cause right where she is, in front of the cameras with her idiotic-sounding six-year-old voice and her nonsensical blather. What better way to get the real message of the Democrat Party in front of the voters?
