Brian Williams Straight-Up Lies -- Again -- Claiming That the Mueller Report Did Not Exonerate Trump on Collusion

You may have missed it last week, but the media decided that last week they would announce "Brian Williams' Renaissance" and his "Big Comeback," opining that he had regained the credibility he'd lost when repeatedly lying about being under fire in his Danger Man Walter Mitty fantasies.

I can't help but read "said Brian Williams' agent" after each of the anonymous quotes boosting Brian Williams in the Politico story quoted below.

The Brian Williams comeback is complete. Almost....

The return Williams to (cable) network anchor status has been so understated and seamless, that it would have been easy not to notice....

Williams's transgression is hardly mentioned anymore, perhaps because he apologized and accepted the punishment, or because of the time that has passed. But it also has receded in the public attention in part due to the much more serious and salacious accusations about some of his peers -- Matt Lauer, Charlie Rose and Mark Halperin, among others -- documented as part of the #MeToo movement.

Whatever the reason, Williams seems to have found his footing on MSNBC, having apparently regained the trust of his audience.

So, what comes next for Williams? There have been reports -- and talk among MSNBC rank and file -- that he could move up his time slot to replace a lower-performing show like "Hardball with Chris Matthews."

And now this lying leftist is on tv telling people, with Rachel Maddow levels of shamelessness, that the Mueller report left open the possibility of Russian collusion.

Meanwhile, Nick Sandmann has filed a $275 million defamation lawsuit against NBCUniversal.
