Supposedly a minor fender-bender. The NYPD driver was found to be at fault -- but was he?

What I mean is, if you're a driver whose job depends on pleasing your boss, as a legal matter, sure, you're responsible for any accidents you might cause.

But what if your boss tells you to ignore the speed limit because he's late? And what if that leads to a collision?

I don't know if that's true-- it's just speculation.

But it is interesting that they covered this up. You don't cover up things that are no threat to the powerful.

Mark Meadows is eyeing two or three criminal referrals for people associated with Fusion GPS.

"I can tell you that there are two or three individuals that we believe could have potentially given false testimony to Congress. We have been looking at that, reviewing not only the Mueller report, but comparing those to transcribed interviews that might have happened in Congress," Meadows said at an event hosted by The Washington Post.

That story of the Canadian father threatened with jail if he interferes with his child's sex mutilation -- or even if he refers to his child's actual sex -- or even if he mentions the court order not to talk about the case -- just keeps getting worse.

At about the same time that story was published, the Supreme Court issued an additional, more heavy-handed "protection order" from the same ruling. The three-page document declares that the father, Clark [note: this is a pseudonym], will henceforth be subject to arrest, immediately and “without warrant” if any police officer has "reasonable" grounds to believe that he has in any way referred to his daughter as a girl in public or in private.

The new order further stipulated not only that Clark must not discuss his daughter's sex or gender identity in public, but also that he cannot share court documents describing his own gag order.

This year's White House Correspondents Dinner took place on Saturday and CNN held its "Political Hangover" brunch the following day with the "collusion" drink included on the "Barr menu," a reference to U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr. The drink consisted of "Russia vodka and orange (fresh from Florida)."

On that subject: Ludicrous leftist Adam Conover (who?) of "Adam Ruins Everything" (what?) was on Joe Rogan recently. He said that it was no big deal that trangenders will continue pummeling actual women in sports -- because soon, transgenders would not have so many years of male hormones in them.

See, he said, transgenders will increasingly transition at age seven, so you don't have to worry about 30 year old male-to-female transgenders with decades of testosterone in them.

And he said this as if the prospect was a good thing that would reassure us all.

Democrats, and the media -- but I repeat myself, as I so often do -- have laid down the law that you're not permitted to note that Democrat Virginia governor Ralph Northam, the blackface-wearin' liar, openly advocated for post-birth abortion, also known as "murder," because that is... problematic for the narrative that there is no such thing as post-birth abortion.

Why are James Clapper and John Brennan at-large instead of in jail?

And so, Brennan and Clapper continue as living proof that the United States has a dual system of justice. The example of their impunity speaks louder than any speech, and reassures their leftist successors in the intelligence agencies that their channel to the Times and Post is as safe as ever.

Politics is not responsible for the non-application of Section 798 to Brennan and Clapper. It is difficult to imagine that the public would not approve massively the straightforward application to prominent men of a law that is so unambiguous, which is the foundation of arguably the main part of U.S intelligence, and which has been applied countless times to ordinary people.

Rather, the absence of real politics--of real competition between opposing sides in American life--is the culprit. What we see is that those in the upper echelons of American life, whether they call themselves Republicans or Democrats, have greater loyalty to the ruling class to which they belong than to any law or institution. The refusal to apply Section 798 to Brennan and Clapper --the fact that they are free men --is simply the most obvious manifestation of the fact that we have a ruling class, that it is coherent, and that it has yet to be challenged in any serious way.

Okay, I think I'm going to go see Endgame, the first Marvel movie I've bought a ticket for since I started my embargo a few years ago. (I did see one movie in the theater, but only because a friends had an extra ticket and offered.)
