The Morning Report - 3/5/19

jenfro.jpg

Good morning kids. Tuesday and above the fold, well lookie here! Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, affectionately known around here as Donkey Chompers, the future Betty Grable pin-up girl of the re-education camps, along with her chief of staff Saikat Chakrabarti, the guy who puts all the words in her mouth with the exception of "like" and "you know," are evidently about to get caught up in some deep doo-doo:

Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her chief of staff Saikat Chakrabarti obtained majority control of Justice Democrats PAC in December 2017, according to archived copies of the group's website, and the two appear to retain their control of the group, according to corporate filings... If the Federal Election Commission (FEC) finds that the New York Democrat's campaign operated in affiliation with the PAC, which had raised more than $1.8 million before her June 2018 primary, it would open them up to "massive reporting violations, probably at least some illegal contribution violations exceeding the lawful limits," former FEC commissioner Brad Smith said.

Ocasio-Cortez never disclosed to the FEC that she and Chakrabarti, who served as her campaign chair, controlled the PAC while it was simultaneously supporting her primary campaign, and former FEC commissioners say the arrangement could lead to multiple campaign finance violations. The group backed 12 Democrats during the 2018 midterms, but Ocasio-Cortez was the only one of those to win her general election...

The cynic in me says nothing will happen to her because, Democrat. But, considering the internecine struggle between the in-your-face Communist young Turks and the stealth Trotskyites of the old guard party establishment, I would not be surprised if this may be one of those rare occasions when the Democrat crook-du-jour goes down. Minimally she'll be forced to resign from Congress. And that would suit Palsi Pelosi and company just fine, both for political and personal reasons. Stay tuned and go long on popcorn.

The other big story is that along with Luap the Lesser, Cocaine Mitch is now claiming he has the votes in the Senate to block the President's declaration of a national emergency over the immigration crisis at the border. All this is is confirmation that we no longer have a party that stands with the majority (still) of the American people. We all know why the Dems want open borders. But the GOP and big government cronies have a vested interest in open borders for cheap labor. To hell with them. I'm looking at Tom Donahue and the Chamber of Commerce as well as anyone and everyone who supports this at the expense of the American citizen. In any case, Trump will no doubt veto this and from what I can see there aren't enough votes to override the veto. Of course, rogue judges like Buch M. Danno will exercise their right to subvert the Constitution, but at least we have the Supreme Court to back us up in the end. Literally, IYKWIM. Feh.

Elsewhere, with rumors of Civil War 2.0, the big political story is the Democrats being forced to vote on a resolution condemning anti-semitism. Palsi Pelosi and company are pulling a fast one because there is no condemnation specifically of "Bro-Fo" Omar or Rancida T-Labia as well as a renouncing of any anti-Israel policy positions to the party platform from 2012 or 2016. As far as Omar goes, her background has very alarming links to terrorist organizations and her position on the Foreign Relations Committee is beyond insane. And the fact that she demonstrably violated Federal immigration laws in becoming a US citizen means she and her brood should be deported. Should be.

Elsewhere, as the Mueller report is now expected to essentially destroy the Russia collusion myth, the Congressional mass fishing expedition and witch hunt led by the loathsome Jerrold Nadler and others is about the get underway, since of course Mueller finding no wrong doing will be an unacceptable outcome. Meh. Bring it on. The more the Democrats waste their time in the House micturating into the wind on this, the less time they have to cause legislative meshugas with the help of the RINOs there and in the Senate. Other than that, we have three good links about the Black voting bloc including Mark Levin's interview with the founder of WalkAway Brandon Straka and Daniel Greenfield dismantles the Coup Cucks Clan.

Speaking of Mueller, Fusion GPS' Glenn Simpson evidently colluded with the State Department before the 2016 election and new AG Barr will not recuse himself from the probe, although with the thing now about to end, what good is that going to do?

Abortion: Several good links including how Obama policy got us to the point of post-natal infanticide.

First Amendment: Judeo-Christian law firm goes after Michigan and the SPLC for persecuting them, Amazon prime quashes an anti-vaccination flick (I can argue that as good and bad), the MAGA hat kids lawyer ain't having any of the WaPo's apology, the media covered up for an innocent teenage Gaza yoot, more on the Tommy Robinson saga and what it could mean on this side of the pond, and an interesting piece on independent sci-fi writers, the publishing industry and the SJW industry.

Foreign Desk: Putin pulls out of the INF treaty, Guaido is back in Venezuela as Donkey Chompers refuses to condemn Maduro despite his failure at not correctly implementing socialism, Mike Pompeo affirms US commitment to defending the Philippines which is a warning to the Chi-Coms vis a vis the Spratly Islands, Marco Rubio high on the US now allowing Cuba to face civil suits, and the Vatican will unseal the records of Pope Pius XII vis a vis his turning a blind eye to the Holocaust and perhaps the Vatican's aiding and abetting Nazi war criminals in fleeing justice after the war.

The Economy: Trump has made wages and productivity great again, even Momma Donkey Chompers fled New York's high taxes, if the wealthy think they're not paying enough in taxes then shut the fuck up and write a check to the US Treasury, a look at looming state budget disasters and Florida dodged a bullet with Gillum.

Crime Blotter: A woman slashed on a NYC subway platform by a crazed racist? De Bolshevik sez move along.

Healthcare: Purdue Pharma likely to be crushed under massive OxyContin lawsuits and now over 100 House Dems want to outlaw private health insurance.

Education: Evergreen State desperate to reform its image, West Virginia Teachers Unions should be RICOd out of existence, a negative opinion of Trump's federal solution to school choice, GOP greases the wheels of commie indoctrination in Maine, and the dean of NJ's Rider University tried plucking Chick-Fil-A and lost.

Red Greens: Latest Dem prexy hopeful Hickenlooper's Colorado environmental record was long on coercion, short on consensus.

Feminazism, Homosexualization: Homo agitprop in the schools gets the deep 6 by parents - Muslim parents. And that time Google tried addressing the gender pay gap? Heh.

Hither and Yon: More on the attempted post mortem character assassination of John Wayne, a look at the phenomenon of The 'Burbs at 30, and the Metropolitan Opera hates whites.

NOTE: The opinions expressed in some links may or may not reflect my own. I include them because of their relevance to the discussion of a particular issue. Anyway, links from around the world, across the nation and up your street. Have a better one and remain blessed.
