A Conservative Gets Sucker-Punched in the Face at Berkeley; University Fails to Condemn
Update: They Finally Condemned

Let me just check: We're all supposed to be condemning those on our side who commit violence (if they ever do), right?

While the left continues to not condemn violence from the left, and even make excuses for it, right?

Because that's how we Show We're Better or something, right?

So far, the media isn't even covering it.

Which means they're covering it up.

As usual.

So to sum this up: Fake attack gets national attention which begets real attack which gets...? Will the national media work itself into a frenzy over this too or will this be treated as local news? It would be interesting to hear CNN's Don Lemon trying to find some way to defend this. Will CNN even run the clip? Start holding your breath now!

Another conservative student was assaulted on @UCBerkeley's campus. I just spoke to the survivor of the attack who is a dear friend of mine. There was a police alert about the assault. The administration did the right thing by condemning the violence when asked by the media. However, there has been no campus wide announcement or letter from Chancellor Christ to the entire Berkeley community. https://t.co/e84MvIAoBO

I will shortly begin an email campaign encouraging the administrators to publicly condemn these acts of violence and stand in solidarity with campus conservatives. I hope everyone who cares about upholding student's rights on campus joins me in this mass effort.

You know how you get vigilantes? You get vigilantes when the authorities either can't or won't do their fundamental job of protecting the populace and punishing those who attack citizens. When the state can't do that -- or refuses to do that -- the state loses its monopoly on the use of force and citizens begin forming vigilante groups to protect themselves.

The leftists really seem to want vigilante squads. They're doing their level-best to provoke people into forming them.

This video says it in a much cuter way, but there is nothing really cute about the low-level civil war the left has started.

I don't know if it will remain low-level once people besides the left start joining in.
