Here's another Expert and True Conservative, who totally believes in all the conservative principles.

Except... see, the thing is, arguing about abortion is rude and so we don't do that. It would be upsetting to our liberal friends to fight for this issue, so we just issue gauzy statements about it and then do absolutely nothing about it, ever.

Note that this Expert Genius who we should definitely all listen to is confusing Ed Gillespie, who ran for governor in 2017 and was never accused of being racist (he was merely attacked by NeverTrumpers for not being sufficiently antagonistic towards Trump), with Corey Stewart, who ran for Senate in 2018 and was accused, for reasons I never really fully read into, of having some kind of "soft on white supremacism" thing.

She is conflating one political candidate with another, and using that to excuse her NeverTrump pal Bill Kristol from supporting a pro-infanticide candidate. Because all of these people who claim to be repulsed by tribalism are intensely tribalistic.

She's also completely pig-ignorant but still pontificating about her area of "expertise," politics.

I'm sure you'll be surprise to learn that a guy who lets the media bill him as a "lifelong Republican," despite his own admission that he quit the party in 2012 and only "rejoined it" to vote against Trump (and then quit again), is calling to vote all Republicans out of office in 2020.
