The Morning Report - 1/24/19

Good morning kids. Thursday and the civil unrest in Venezuela is at the top of the fold. The last election that installed current president Nicholas Maduro, who formerly served as Hugo Chavez's parrot, is largely viewed as illegitimate and rioting broke out in areas that until now have supported him as a result of some sort of coup-like activity from military units. Opposition leader Juan Guaido has been sworn in and President Trump has announced the US will recognize him as the interim president, which caused Maduro to sever relations with us and ordered all American officials out of the country within 72 hours. The protests reportedly involve tens of thousands of Venezuelans who have had it up to Alexandria Ocasio-TacoRosado's bulging eyeballs with socialism. The X factor in all of this remains the military and police as well as what if anything the US will do to help Maduro and company do a Mussolini/Ceacescu impersonation. And in case any Lefties are here, this is why we have the Second Amendment. Prayers for the people of Venezuela and death to Socialism. At home and abroad.

And speaking of beating a dead horse (at least the teeth), the House passed legislation that includes, allegedly, funding for border security with the lone "no" Democrat vote coming from Ocasio-TacoRosado while the Senate is set to take up similar bills that would end the government "shutdown" though with 60 votes needed for passage, the odds are that they are not going to make it. For his part, the President continues to stand firm on his demand for the money to build the border wall, while the Dems for their part are going wobbly on Palsi Pelosi. The political takeaway for me is the President is coming out on top while the Dems are in total disarray and taking it in the shorts in the eyes of the American people, the Agitprop-Media notwithstanding. Meanwhile, the President has now announced that he will be postponing the SOTU speech until the shutdown ends, after going toe to toe with Palsi Pelosi for use of the House. Some say she got the upper hand, others disagree. Coupled with the discord in her party over wall funding, and the horrible optics of being booted off government air and refusing to negotiate, I'd say she's got the shit end of the stick in the eyes of the public. Elsewhere, the Code-Pinkos and other idled bureaucrats wandered the halls of congress demanding to see Cocaine Mitch and screaming for paychecks. I really wish the President would have begun the process of permanently excessing these idlers and hacks and mothballing entire agencies. Could still happen.

Circling back to tyranny, more links and news in the wake of the attempted high-tech lynching of the Covington MAGA hat kids where incest aficionado Ilhan Omar has deleted her sick libelous tweets against the boys in the face of a libel lawsuit, a couple of links on the now open war on Catholicism and Christianity as well as the continued ramping up of anti-semitism as public policy by the Democrat Party, the peace-loving Left and their penchant to want to punch people in the face, and a look at Nathan "Sergeant York Air Conditioner" Phillips' sudden allies, the rabidly racist Black-Hebrew-Israelites. If you can stand to listen to them, their brand of fringe, raving lunacy, once reserved for street corners in and around Times Square where only the occasional Travis Bickel-type might raise an eyebrow, is now acceptable discourse among the Democrat-Left. Except for the gay-bashing but the SJWs will pass over that...

To politics where first up on the scandal sheet, Sheila Jackass-Lee has been forced to step down form a few leadership positions in the Congressional Black Caucasians because of her role in trying to silence and intimidate a woman who claimed an aide of Lee's sexually assaulted her. If the media can't cover this up, I expect the poor woman to be given the Bimbo Eruptions Unit treatment and smeared. Elsewhere, somehow all the Dem prexy hopefuls have to line up to kiss Al Sharpton's sewer medallion in search of his endorsement, Fauxca-HasBeen proves she's about as dumb as Ocasio-TacoRosado if not as toothy, Mark Levin rips Palsi Pelosi (and see the related link about her a few lines down), Martin Luther King's son is a hack, Trump really is blessed with his enemies and the Democrat Party hates America.

Fake News Fakery and First Amendment: I guess lying doesn't pay as much as we thought as BuzzFeed cuts 15% of its staff, amen to bringing a camera with you if you're not a Leftist, Jeffrey Lord on MAGA hats as the new hijab (more like yellow star of David), Microsoft gets in on the phony fact-checking game by smearing Jihad Watch and why so many fall for fake news.

Foreign Desk: Related to the Venezuela situation, Trump's pick for ambassador to Colombia remains in limbo as the situation heats up in the region, in the wake of Germany's banning an Iranian airline the administration is pressuring other Euro-Peons to do the same, is China's 40 year economic boom ending and, in the wake of their militarizing of space (don't let that lunar lander fool you, kiddies), we should not be poo-pooing the new US Space Force.

Domestically, a court upholds Arkansas' anti-BDS law, the GOP reportedly is set to ramp up the judicial confirmations and a look at one frightening thing, among many disasters, that Bill De Bolshevik has wrought upon my hometown.
