Cold Warrior: Everyone's Favorite "Vietnam Vet" Was a Refrigerator Mechanic Who Went AWOL Three Times
UPDATE: CHIEF LIES WITH ABANDON LIES MORE ABOUT HIS PREVIOUS LIES; WAPO VOUCHES FOR HIM
You guys probably know this, but Chief Refer Madness was not in fact a "Marine Recon Ranger" (a thing which does not exist) but instead was a refrigerator mechanic who went AWOL three times and served at all times in wartorn Nebraska.
Although there's a "NSFW" warning on the post, the only thing unsafe about it, if I remember right, is that he says "shit" a couple of times. I don't think it's the sort of thing likely to scandalize readers here.

Holy Shit Update:
Tami says this is the latest #FakeNews from the completely fraudulent Washington Post, trying its best to prop up its LIAR:
"I have a relative here who said he'd lead the way and scout ahead for us," Phillips said in the article, which describes a protest at the Standing Rock Sioux reservation in North Dakota. "You know, I'm from Vietnam times. I'm what they call a recon ranger. That was my role. So I thank you for taking that point position for me."
Nelson said that Phillips's comments at Standing Rock were taken out of context and that Phillips actually was referring to the work they were doing at the time on the reservation.
Oh? Then what was the reference to "Vietnam-times"?
What is this mention of "POINT POSITION"? Isn't "taking point" a bit of military lingo that even a chairborne ranger would understand?
Isn't he suggesting he used to take the point on military scouting missions deep into enemy territory during "Vietnam-times"?
More: Chief Lies With Abandon Claims He Was "Spat On," Called "Baby Killer, Presumably When He Came Home From Seeing "Platoon:" At Stripes.com:
The Native American activist, seen beating a drum Friday as teens from Covington High School in Kentucky surrounded and mocked him, has referred to himself as a "Vietnam-times" veteran. He described in interviews getting spit on and called a baby killer by a "hippie girl," and told the Detroit Free Press on Saturday that "I'm a Marine Corps veteran and I know what that mob mentality can be like."
The sight of him surrounded by a group of teens wearing baseball hats emblazoned with President Donald Trump's "Make America Great Again" campaign slogan and the shifting narratives about the incident afterward have prompted political outcry from conservatives and liberals alike.
He also described the experience of being ordered by a superior to completely take-apart of a Kenmore Walk-In Freezer.
"They told us: 'We had to disassemble the heat unit to save it,'" he sighed, eyes welling with tears.
