The Morning Report - 11/23/18

brdrng.jpg

Good morning kids. Black Friday is here, and hope you are enjoying the extended Thanksgiving weekend with not too much of a distended waistline. Fewer links than usual as one might expect given the holiday but what's on offer today are quite good as well as the continuing big story which is the migrant caravan invasion.

As the first large contingent nears the Tijuana-San Diego border bridge, the President has threatened to seal the entire US-Mexico border, and has authorized the use of deadly force to keep people out. Bravo. Besides this insanity, lest we forget that there are perhaps upwards of 25-30 million foreign nationals living here illegally already - 10% of our entire population - sucking up our tax dollars, depriving citizens of jobs including high paying ones (see the link to Lloyd Billingsley's piece), straining our social services and forming the bulwark of the Democrat-Left's mission to divide and conquer us. Unless and until we disincentivized people from jumping our borders, meaning cutting them off from Uncle Sugar's wallet and imprisoning those who willingly employ them (visions of the Koch Brothers and Tom Donohue in orange jumpsuits), we're just treating terminal cancer with Bacteen.

To the Democrat scandal category where Daniel Greenfield has an enlightening post about the Congressional Black Caucus crime syndicate set to play a major role now that the House is in Democrat hands for the next two years, and the incompetent hackery and demented environmental policy in Sacramento meant it took 9 years for the agency meant to assess the fire risk of power lines to create a fire risk map. Meh, they hate the power companies and are loathe to place the blame where it belongs, which is on the environmental-communists who nixed controlled burns and sensible forest management.

On the political scene, the President has vowed to deliver the votes to ensure Nancy Palsi gets the Speaker's gavel. She needs the votes but then she'll be forever labeled by the Maoists as having Trump-taint. Pass the popcorn. Also, a couple of good essays on how Chief Justice "Julia" Roberts is a complete hack in rebuking the President's criticism of the momzer who put the kibosh on his executive order vis a vis the invasion caravan and amnesty, and lastly Sarsour the Hamas Louse takes a beating, rhetorical not Keith Ellisonian. And speaking of the CBC and sharia, Twitter is keeeeling Laura Loomer softly by banning her for daring to criticize Congressconcubine-elect Ilhan Omar and her support for clit-clipping. Censorship will be a recurring theme today so watch for that.

In Mueller witch hunt doings, the Brits oppose the declassification of documents related to the dossier mostly because it will show that their intelligence services were the ones that forged it and how the GOP and PDT utterly failed in pursuing the FISA abuse criminals of the Deep State. I don't know about blaming the President but all the GOP did for the past two years was make a lot of noise and the criminals still roam freely among us. Meh, and feh.

And in Andrew Cui-Bono's New York, a new bill will be introduced that requires the thorough examination of one's social media profile in order to buy a firearm. No doubt, being linked to extreme radical groups like the Republican Party will put you on a watch list, nein?

At the foreign desk, Europe hates Trump so much that it's following his lead in abandoning the UN migrant surrender pact and Nat Sec Advisor Bolton is on his way to the Caucasus to meet with real Caucasians (not the Congressional Black variety) to discuss strategic situations vis a vis Iran and Russia which border the nations in the area.

Domestically, this Pritzker chucklehead in Illinois seems to be oblivious to the fact that his state's economy is circling the bowl and a hack-in-black Obama judge is blasting the administration for wanting a delay in the hearing over the citizenship question on the census.

Quite a few items in the crime and punishment category. First 20 years a psychiatrist - no, that's not a new movie with Kelsey Grammar but the story about how the UK's wonderful NHS let some dame pose as a shrink for two decades and scam a whole lot of money. Good piece from Legal Insurrection about the law of self defense, it appears the judge in the infamous jogger murder trial in NYC dismissed the jury after 13 hours because he was in a rush to get home to carve up his turkey, and a look at the First Step law from the political aspect for the GOP and Trump as well as from Michelle Malkin who is singing the laws praises.

What happens in Albuquerque when you criticize a Catholic Church for having a pedophile priest? You get pepper sprayed in the face. Better call Saul. Or Paul?

In healthcare some incredibly promising news in the war on Alzheimer's and yet another Obama hack-in-black who overturned Mississippi's abortion ban sez Republicans want to put women and minorities back in chains. But dismembered fetuses in test tubes and centrifuges is okay. No doubt this will head to the SCOTUS so it could have national import vis a vis Roe.

Back to censorship this time in the halls of academia where the enlightenment gets My Pillowed. A university dean gets fired for the unspeakable crime of daring to question the veracity of a Kavanaugh accuser, Rider University (founded by Wynona Rider) refuses to allow Chic-Fil-A on campus because of its corporate culture (Christian and American), a look at Columbia U's Center for Palestine Studies, Harvard and NYU Law Reviews sued over racial quotas, and a Journal of Controversial Ideas gives a voice to silenced scholars, controversial meaning "wrong-think." Hence, it remains anonymous.

From hither and yon, ESPN lost 2 million subscribers this past year, the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade is sure to lose viewers next year after the first televised homo kiss, Dear Evan Hansen is a hot SJW mess, the blackballing of conservative comedians, Roger Kimball and Richard Fernandez with two good pieces on Trump and populism, and finally, giving thanks to the unsung heroes doing G-d's work in the midst of the California wildfires.

Now, go spend your money.

Anyway, links from around the world, across the nation and up your street. Have a better one and remain blessed.
