Megyn Kelly Exits NBC with All $30 Million Remaining on Her $69 Million Contract

She didn't give NBC anything.

Or did she?

Megyn Kelly had been hinting around -- and by "hinting," I mean outright saying -- that she knew more about Matt Lauer and NBC's Rape Culture than the general public.

NBC wanted her to sign an NDA in exchange for paying her contract off, so that she would never talk about what she "knows."

Sources say the talks naturally slowed somewhat over the weekend, but ramped up again on Monday. Among the issues the sides are haggling over: money and a non-disclosure and non-disparagement clause. Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Kelly is resisting an NDA.

I don't see anyone reporting on this NDA being part of this deal, or not being part of it. But given that NBC gave MeAgain all that she wanted, I'm going to guess she gave NBC what it wanted in return. At least until I hear that she either did or did not sign NBC's Don't-Talk-About-Matt-Lauer NDA.

And if she did sell out for money: Well then she's proven she's a Real Little Firefighter.
