The Morning Report - 11/7/18

madhouse.jpg

Good morning kids. Wednesday and as I'm sure you're all aware it's a bit of a mixed bag this morning in the wake of the 2018 Midterms. On the plus side, the GOP had a huge victory in the Senate as we were able to kick to the curb four lousy Democrats and increase our majority in the upper chamber. On the down side, we lost control of the House and there is no getting around the fact that the next two years of having insane criminals and scum like Pelosi, Waters, Schiff, Cummings and Nadler doing their worst to just sabotage the Trump agenda along with attempting to corrupt as many on our side in the interest of "bipartisanship." And Loopy Ocasio-Fiasco is sure to be a fixture with her brilliance and cries of "because, shut up, that's why" when asked for facts and figures.

As I mentioned yesterday, the 40-odd incumbent Republicans deciding to retire made keeping the lower chamber that much more difficult. But for me, the blame for losing the majority I think rests squarely on the shoulders of Paul Ryno and the other establishmentarians for sabotaging the Obamacare repeal (granted, McStains' thumbs down didn't help on the watered down repeal in the Senate either) and more importantly the lack of funding for the Border Wall. They had two full years to work with this President and advance the cause. And instead hemmed, hawed and criticized his "tone." A hearty and heartfelt "fuck you" to Ryan and all the others like him who are out the door. On a positive note, we managed to keep several key House seats that the Dems considered crucial, so there is that.

On the positive side of the ledger, wow. McAssKill, Heitkamp, and Donnelly were kicked to the curb along with Bill Nelson who loses by a red nether hair. Also, Jon Tester is either on the brink or is out in Montana. Stay tuned for that. Unfortunately we didn't get rid of Joe's Man-Chin which I thought was going to happen, nor Menendez which was seemingly closer than one would've thought given it's Jersey. Of significance was "Mickey" O'Rourke going down in Texas where Democrats wasted millions of dollars that otherwise might've been better spent elsewhere. That race was a lot closer than it should've been given that it's Texas and O'Rourke was running to Left of Ocasio-Fiasco. Squish Dean Heller didn't survive in Nevada but that state is controlled by the Lefty unions in Vegas and Reno. And although anti-Trump RINO Mitt Romney won in Utah, I predict he is going to be a huge pain in the ass for the next 6 years. Crucially, with a few more "Willie Cicci seats" in the Senate, that might not be a big deal should it come time for another SCOTUS nominee or two. And speaking of which, in the last analysis, the Dems have no one other than themselves to blame for losing the Senate because they decided to attempt to destroy Brett Kavanaugh and only wound up exposing themselves to the nation. Too bad it didn't extend to House candidates but it is what it is.

Lastly, in gubernatorial races, first and most upsetting is that Scott Walker who has done so much to turn around the fortunes of Wisconsin, and the subject of non-stop Democrat Leftist persecutions, recall elections, prosecutorial malfeasance and every smear you can imagine, came up short in his re-election bid. He's a good man and was a great governor. I hope we hear from him in the future. But the two marquee races in Florida and Georgia saw Ron DeSantis beating the corrupt, anti-semitic Marxist Andrew Gillum and by all indications Brian Kemp has defeated Stacey "Tanks A Lot" Abrams in Georgia although as of this morning she is refusing to concede. If it's close enough for a recall, G-d forbid, I fully expect Stewart Smalley's Buick LeSabre to be coming out of the garage. Stay tuned.

There are also other midterm-related items salted throughout other categories, most notably in Immigration so look for those. Moving on to that category, while both sides are looking at what happened yesterday to claim the high ground of the issue, a couple of links about birthright citizenship, the claims that violence at home is fueling the invaders doesn't jibe with statistics, an increase in real Christian refugees from the Middle East where they are in actual peril and a nice young man who was turning his life around exemplifies the Middle Easterners Obama let in in droves. Feh.

In Fake News fakery, renowned plagiarist and spinster Maureen Dowd has the cure for the Dems in 2020: Gary Hart, and the MFM propagandists were not happy about last night, despite what happened in the House.

At the foreign desk, the Chi-Coms caved on trade and tariffs or did they, and Marine LePen's party overtakes Macron's in the latest French EU election poll. Meh, it's France.

Domestically, little by little Jews are moving away from grabbing guns to embracing guns in the wake of Pittsburgh and bans on "assault weapons" are political poison to most Americans, a warm welcome to the new Joo-hating, sharia-pimping Muzzy congressmen, Brett Kavanaugh is set to hear his first death penalty case, half the voters polled think Mueller is conducting a political witch hunt, Judicial Watch has sued to get the info on Hillary's security clearance revocation, can a Dem-controlled House sabotage Trumponomics, the big 3 Dem blue shit-holes are near fiscal collapse because of pensions (shocking, I know), pro-life ballot measures win in 3 states, NYC schools are a freaking disaster, and Colorado voters show signs of sanity in preventing oil and gas drilling from being shut down.

From hither and yon, Hollywood heads explode over yesterday's results, Paul Rodriguez outs himself as a Republican and probably destroys his career in the process, psychiatrists proclaiming PDT mentally ill can go DIAF, and lastly a sobering essay on how ignorance fuels the divisions and drives us to doom. In that vein, a final observation; while on a granular level it is obvious that the Democrat Party is now openly and proudly calling for Socialism and the end of America as founded by any means necessary, the fact that scum like Abrams, Gillum, Fiasco and Keith "X" are its leadership and future and that Louis Farrakhan is openly embraced or at best ignored, is a very frightening and sobering thought. Nancy Palsi's dentures spout platitudes of "bi-partisanship" while at the same time she insists that we either surrender or die. Yes, that is what she means by "collateral damage." All of this rot begins and ends in the schools. If we are to have any chance of even beginning to reverse course, then that is where the battle is going to be. Out of the spotlight, but going on every minute of every day our kids are exposed to the brainwashers from pre-school to post-grad. Something has got to change and that is where it's got to happen.

Anyway, links from around the world, across the nation and up your street. Have a better one and remain blessed.
