Patriotism Used To Be A Simple And Expected Idea....Not So Much Any More

Patriotic Polish children are “a great example for young Brits”

It's mostly a video of an interview with a Polish kid, and it is gratifying that he actually does care about his country.

We have lost the connection to our roots, in part because we ceded control of the American education system to a bunch of marxists, and in part because we got lazy...assuming that everything was always going to be great. But everything isn't going to be great, as a casual reading of history will rapidly show. Without civics classes and patriotic parades and a society that honors service (military and other) and marriage being a prerequisite to having children and a hundred other things that we are forgetting, our grip on the political philosophy that formed this country and the resolve to protect it is being lost.
