Shock: Now that Republicans Don't Need Joe Manchin's Vote, Joe Manchin Heroically Announces He Will Vote for Kavanaugh

Update: Joe Manchin is really obvious in his pretending.

Only now that Kavanaugh doesn't need him does he announce to his conservative voters, "Oh, I'm a Yes too."

How long is West Virginia going to fall for this?

Update: Collins stressed that Leland Keyser said that not only did she not remember the party Ford alleges, but that she does not even know Brett Kavanaugh.

I questioned why people on the right were treating this FACT as a mere speedbump in Blasey's claim in the post below.

Well, Collins didn't treat it as a speedbump.

She does, however, resort to the Poll-Tested Political Postuiring that "something must have happened" but got all mixed up in Blasey's smaller, inferior female brain.

Why people think that this position is somehow more respectable than just saying someone is probably lying, I don't know. "We're not saying you're a liar -- we're just saying you're either delusional or brain-damaged."

I guess that's slightly nicer? Maybe? Slightly? Barely?

I don't know. I think I'd rather be accused of being a villain with agency rather than a deluded brain-damaged puppet. Especially if I were a big believer in the #StrrrongWomen feminist branding.
