The Morning Report - 10/4/18

gotcharach.jpg

Good morning kids. Thursday at long last and there may be light at the end of the tunnel with the Kavanaugh confirmation/character assassination; hopefully not from the headlight of an oncoming train. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has started the procedures to call for cloture and will bring the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the floor for a full vote, most likely on Saturday. Meanwhile, as the Democrats do the Replicant Pris Death Mambo over the FBI report they were bitching and moaning about for weeks, the White House has officially closed the books on the investigation and is throwing its full support behind the nominee.

Rush Limbaugh talked about this yesterday and I have a couple of other links that are picking up on his comments, to wit, it is certainly looking like Rachel Mitchell, the sex crimes prosecutor brought in to question the lying Leftist stooge Balsey Ford last week may turn out to be the unsung hero in getting Kavanaugh confirmed (that assumes that the RINOs will actually look at and consider the evidence honestly). While everyone on our side, Limbaugh included, was yelling at their TV screens wondering what the hell she was doing with seemingly out of left field questions.

...In retrospect now with things that we have learned just in the last 24 hours, [Rachel Mitchell] was brilliant. That woman has caught Christine Ford in lies. If they're ever needed, if it's ever needed to expose this woman, I think people are gonna try to get through this without exposing Ford for what she is...

...Her timeline alone has shifted. When do you think this incident with Kavanaugh, the alleged incident happened? Because she has described it as early '82, mid-'82, sometime in '83, her timeline has changed based on who she's been talking to, and that has been documented. The fact that she has lied openly now about not knowing anything about polygraphs and not helping people pass them. There's a signatory to one of the support letters written for her, Monica McLean, retired FBI, special agent, her best friend for life, and she is named as one of the people that helped Dr. Ford pass a lie detector test in her employment application for the FBI. Monica McLean issued a statement to ABC: "I have never had Christine Blasey Ford or anybody else prepare me or provide any other type of assistance whatsoever in connection with any polygraph exam I have taken at any time."

I think they've been caught big time... but the questioning that we all thought was a waste of time has exposed potentially Dr. Ford to so many lies that if it ever became necessary to use them, she could be destroyed. Credibility, credibility could be destroyed...

And add to this creepy porn shyster Michael Avenatti's client Julie Swetinick's story shot to pieces as well as Deborah Ramirez's, the constantly shifting focus from gang-rape to throwing ice in a bar and, well, it's over Lefties. In the immortal words of none other than legendary Vietcong war hero Danang Dick Blumenthal...

"Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus."

Look, I'm not going to predict anything about the vote; Flake is gone and that leaves Collins and Murkowski. I cannot see how they can possibly vote no after all of this. And the polling data clearly shows Americans as a whole - including a good portion of Dem voters, believe it or not - view this as a titanic Democrat clusterfuck. That leaves Joe Manchin, Heidi Heitkamp and Joe Donnelly in a pickle. And since McConnell has called for the vote, I imagine he has the requisite number, however he gets there, to put Brett Kavanaugh where he deserves, on the bench of the Supreme Court of the United States as an Associate Justice.

And to paraphrase the late great Paul Harvey, there's still the rest of the story to consider. First, the media have put on a complete embargo of Balsy Ford's evident perjury as shown by her ex-boyfriend, The New Yorker still has one last smear up its sleeve to try and fling and see if it sticks, even Ted Koppel admits the truth about the smear campaign, Kavanaugh could conceivably file a defamation suit against the liars, and cromulent observations on this whole affair from Conrad Black and Rabbi Dov Fischer.

Meanwhile, witness the poisoned tree of Obama's legacy bearing fruit, with poison. Police nabbed the freak who sent ricin to PDT, Rand Paul's wife pens an open letter detailing the violence against their family to clueless inciter of violence and jagoff-extraordinaire Cory Sparkler, a congressman bemoans "the new normal," Michelle Malkin wants righteous retribution on Senate Dems, Daniel Greenfield weighs in on the upending of innocent until proven guilty, and Christian Toto details 11 incidents of Hollywood anti-Trump assassination porn.

Looks like Keith Ellison is feeling some pressure as he intends to step down from the DNC to beat up, er, be with his family. Although he won't quite the race for Minnesota AG, and his opponent is yelling for a real investigation into the very credible allegations against. Also, before it gets lost in the sauce, Mark Meadows says the FBI's ex-general counsel gave damning testimony on bias in the Russia investigation and Molly McCaughey calls bullshit on the attempt to hang PDT with the emoluments clause.

In politics, as November approaches, polls are showing the Dems more and more to be in a world of hurt especially with the Kavanaugh fiasco. And speaking of fiasco, Democrat-Socialite Loopy Ocasio-Fiasco belched up something about insane right wingers holding the country hostage, Jared Polis is a crook, Scott Wallace is fading in PA, a look at a Fauxcahontas vs Sandersnista showdown, Nancy Palsi has lost her marbles and a related link on psychological testing for politicians. Meh, a good idea in theory but it all hinges on who does the testing. Considering professionals in the field such as "Dr." Balsey Ford, it doesn't fill me with strength and confidence as to which party will have the overwhelming number of candidates and sitting pols labeled as crazy.

Mixed bag on the Amnesty front. On the plus side of the ledger, the White House has considered suspending visas to Chi-Com exchange students because of espionage concerns (only just considered?!), PDT resumes an anti-fraud policy suspended by Preezy Kenya-Kona Blend that could nab significant numbers of illegal alien workers, ICE is calling for the Mayor of Portland to relinquish police control (PDT should nationalize their force like Holder did in Ferguson and elsewhere), and yet another Obama black-robed stooge has thrown a monkey wrench into the DHS' deportation process. Considering the previous SCOTUS ruling, it is time for Sec Nielsen and the President himself to just openly tell this judge to piss up a rope, but in legalese.

On the international scene, some bogus UN court has ruled against the US vis a vis Iranian sanctions, citing some treaty that is still in effect between us and the Farsis. SoS Pompeo reacted by tearing up the treaty. Good for him. Meanwhile John Bolton caused much soiling of Underoos by telling the truth about "Palestine," Jeremy Cornyn could face US sanctions for aiding and abetting Hamas but that did not stop him from calling for an arms embargo on Israel (which would have little real effect on Israel but would not be so hot for the Brit economy), the EU is sabotaging Theresa May's Brexit timetable, Kurds weigh independence but it's not as easy as it looks and a sobering report of Chi-Com interference in Latin America.

Closer to home, Doomberg opens his cake-hole and serves up a remarkably denigrating, yet completely illustrative, comment about minorities and what he and the elites need to do to protect them: take away our guns. Compare and contrast raising the minimum wage, artificially and/or virtue signaling the Bezos way, or by unleashing free market reforms and creating demand for jobs the Trump way, a good essay on welfare reform, the frightening Islamic infiltration into our schools with the pimping of Joo-hate propaganda, an Imam weighs in on the sharia side of the Kavanaugh-Ford allegations, and Daniel Horowitz thinks leaving Obamacare un-repealed will mess up the GOP in the midterms. I disagree but it does need to be destroyed once and for all come the new year, or else. And sadly, on the police blotter, 7 cops were shot and 1 has died of his wounds after a warrant was served in South Carolina. Prayers sent.

In education news, a physics professor is being hounded for daring to say that physics isn't sexist, the Ivy League screwed up; somehow $750 out of over $200,000 donated to Democrats wound up with Ted Cruz's campaign, and kids are dumber than ever, mostly by design.

From hither and yon, Tubby Riefenstahl's precious bodily lipids are causing a riot on his hippo campus, what we're witnessing with the Kavanaugh insanity and elsewhere is also known as fundamental transformation, an essay on the politics and future of American Judaism, the Other McCain reviews Crazy Rich Asians, and lastly, hearty congratulations to retired US Army medic Ronald J. Shurer II on being awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. Good news is rare and always welcome. Well done and thank you, sir.

Anyway, links from around the world, across the nation and up your street. Have a better one and remain blessed.
