Bogie & Bacall Play Chess
Pic Note
Looks like Bogart has got an aggressive attack underway. He's also cheating like hell, as you can see from the black piece in his left hand he has surreptitiously removed from the board.
As always, the chess/dress pr0n thread is an open thread, so there is no such thing as an off-topic comment.
Easier Problem - Black To Play (Ch. 4209)
Goal: Black can mate in 3
Hint: Eliminate a key escape square

About Freaking Time Somebody Did This:
Arab countries who get all pissy about having Israeli competitors on their soil need to be told to go pound sand. Be nice if the IOC took the lead on this, but there are too many BDS-enraged lunatics running that wretched hive of scum and villainy for anything like that to happen.
More Challenging Problem - Black To Play (801)
Goal: Either an eventual mate or big loss of material
Hint: Open another file for attack

Dress Pr0n For The 'Ettes:
OktoberFest!
That's the biggest pretzel I've ever seen in my life.
Retro Shoe Pr0n:
I'm not going to make shoe pr0n a regular feature, but I couldn't pass up showing you these, which were called "granny boots" back in the day, probably because they're reminiscent of Victorian-era footwear for women. I can just imagine grammie winger or bluebell totally rockin' these boots in the 1970s. With some Creedence Clearwater Revival playing on the stereo. Or perhaps Grand Funk Railroad.

Solutions Update
Easier Problem - Black To Play
r7/1p3pk1/p2pb2r/2p1p1p1/2PbP1p1/1N1Q2P1/PP3PP1/1RR3K1 b - - 0 1
1...Rh1+
2.Kxh1 Bxf2!
Black's first move was easy to see. Maybe this one not so much. But it cuts off the escape square g1 and there is no response by White that can prevent Black's checkmate on the next move.
3.a3 (or any other legal move) Rh8#
More Challenging Problem - Black To Play
5rk1/8/pb6/1p1Pp1q1/1P2P3/P4n2/4Q1NP/R6K b - - 0 1
1...Nxh2!
This opens the 'f' file for the black rook and gains time to continue the attack. White can either take the knight or not. This is what happens if he does:
2. Kxh2 Rf2
3. Qxf2 Bxf2
Or 3.Qf3 Rxf3 4.Ne3 Qg3+ 5.Kh1 Qh3+ 6.Kg1 Bxe3#. Another possibility is 3.Kh3 Qxg2+ 4.Kh4 Bd8+ 5.Kh5 Qg5.
4.Kh1 Qg3
5.Nf4 exf4
6.d6 Qh3#
The other possibility is not to take the knight at the beginning, in which case Black will be able to simplify to his advantage:
2.Ne3 Bxe3
3.Qxh2 Rf6
4.Rg1 Qxg1+
5.Qxg1+ Bxg1
6.Kxg1 and White is toast.
Hope to see you all next week!

Note: that cryptic line of letters and numbers you see underneath each board diagram is a representation of the position in what is known as "Forsyth-Edwards Notation", or F.E.N. It's actually readable by humans. Most computer applications nowadays can read FEN, so those of you who may want to study the position, you can copy the line of FEN and paste into your chess app and it should automatically recreate the position on its display board. Or, Windows users can just "triple click" on it and the entire line will be highlighted so you can copy and paste it into your chess app.
