The Morning Rant: Middle School Edition
This isn't time sensitive because it happens every day all across America. Through zoning regulations and the other various ways we thought we were keeping the riff-raff out of our towns and keeping McDonalds from opening a store next to your favorite mom-and-pop burger joint, we have ceded all power to these two-bit little crooks, who cut deals with developers for under-the-table cash or a chunk of the business or thousands of other ways crooks transfer money to those they buy.
Sure, you say, this is Edgewater NJ, which is in a crooked blue Northeastern state. There is a long tradition of it. It wouldn't happen in my town or village or city or state,
And you would be wrong.
Until we take the power away from these people by demanding our property rights, which are natural rights expressly protected in our Constitution, they will continue to profit, and we will continue to lose.
