CNN Revokes Conservative Commentator's Right to Free Speech After He Pushes Back Against Brennan's Claim That His Right to Speech Is Being Muzzled
You gotta follow the links here. This is good stuff.
First, CNN "national security" expert Philip Mudd basically went crazy when a conservative commentator pointed out that yes, former "intelligence" officials do in fact "monetize" their clearances.
This is bizarre and you should watch or read the transcript. Paris Dennard points out that ex-"intelligence" officials make huge money from private businesses due to the access their clearances (undeservedly) provide them with, and Mudd, insanely, keeps insisting he doesn't make any money from contracts with the federal government.
No matter how many times Dennard notes he's talking about making money from private corporations (and, he could have added: Foreign governments too; a lot of ex military and ex intelligence people make huge money doing "security consulting" for rich Middle East countries, but they're really being paid to be friendly voices for those regimes in the halls of power in America), Mudd keeps repeating, like a maniac, that he isn't making money from the federal government.
My summary doesn't do the exchange justice, though. Check out the video or transcript.
Next, Trump praised Dennard:
Trump's not wrong about Mudd becoming unglued.*
Now, just two days after that, CNN has actually suspended Paris Dennard!
The claim is that they're investigating him over sexual misconduct allegations from 2014.
Racist CNN punishing a black man over thusfar-unsubstantiated sexual misconduct claims. It's Selma all over again.
* Phil Mudd routinely becomes unglued and embarrasses himself on CNN. For example, to prove how #Woke and #TotallyNotRacist he is, he repeatedly used the word "n****r" in an interview with Don Lemon.
Don Lemon said he felt like crying. Not because of Mudd repeatedly using the n-word, but because his unhinged rant was so... touching.
