BTW, of the many things Rick Wilson is not famous for, he's chiefly not famous for endlessly flogging "#TheThing," as he cutely called it, which turned out to be the claim that Ted Cruz was sleeping with various staffers and such.

This was blamed on Trump, because eventually Trump's friend at the National Enquirer published it, but Rick Wilson was the one pushing it on Twitter almost every day, trying to stoke media interest and get them to run the story.

Who was the Florida resident Rick Wilson working for when he was pushing that story against Marco Rubio's chief rival? We may never know.
