The Morning Report 8/9/18

Good morning kids. Lots of things to cover this Thursday but in the lead I want to shine the spotlight on a story that is for sure going to get lost in the sauce, and intentionally so. Because for the media to give it the attention it deserves means it would have to destroy the political party and movement it has been pimping since the birth of the nation (no pun, but still), as well as expose the utter baselessness of the charges against President Trump - The revelations that an aide to Senator Dianne Feinstein, who has been working in her office for the past 20 years, has been spying for the People's Republic of China. The details of all of this, as you can well imagine, are sketchy at best. At first it was reported he was her driver, and then it came out that he was an aide. Later, we learned that officials knew about the guy but they didn't prosecute because his activities were political in nature and not espionage (or espionage-espionage, if you will). And the haziness is due in no small part to the desperation by the Dam-Media complex to avoid a scandal that potentially is as huge as Obamagate and Hillary's emails especially 13 weeks from a midterm election they are desperate to win. And also because it kind of sticks a fork in the whole Russia-Collusion farce which has more forks in it than a bull in a Tijuana matador ring.

Whatever the details may be, the fact remains that a senior American political figure who sat for years on the Senate Intelligence Committee and was privy to some if not all of this nation's most sensitive security and state secrets imaginable had an actual intelligence agent of our chief geopolitical rival and, in fact, enemy in her employ for a period of two decades. And he wasn't just Kato in a chauffeur's outfit or Hop Sing with the Calgon either. From the first link to the Federalist piece:

For the last 40 years, no politician in America has arguably maintained a deeper, more longstanding and friendlier relationship with China, at the highest levels of its ruling Communist Party, than Feinstein. It dates back to the opening of U.S.-Chinese diplomatic relations in 1979.
Shortly thereafter, Feinstein, then mayor of San Francisco, established a "sister city"relationship with Shanghai, one of the earliest and most robust such relationships in U.S.-China history. Soon after, Feinstein led a mayoral delegation to China joined by her husband, investor Richard Blum, a trip they took together many times over the ensuing years as the relationship between both Feinsteins and China grew.

During the 1980s, as mayor of San Francisco, Feinstein developed a close friendship with Shanghai Mayor Jiang Zemin. This substantially enhanced Feinstein's foreign policy profile, and created an important linkage to the U.S. government for China's Communist Party (CCP).

Just as Feinstein rose to a prominent position in foreign affairs and national security in the U.S. Senate, first on the Foreign Relations Committee and later as chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, Jiang rose to the top of Chinese leadership, serving as chairman of the Central Military Commission, general secretary of the CCP, and president of the People's Republic of China (PRC). Under Jiang's leadership, the PRC initiated a brutal crackdown against practitioners of Falun Gong, including mass imprisonments, beatings, torture, rape, organ harvesting, and murder, and engaging in alleged human rights atrocities against Tibetans. Feinstein never renounced her friendship with Jiang, in spite of these acts.

Feinstein and Jiang reportedly visited each other regularly in the 1980s, with Jiang once spending Thanksgiving in San Francisco with Feinstein and her husband. Jiang supposedly danced with Feinstein during one such visit, which surely must have been a propaganda coup for the CCP a la Ted Kennedy and the Soviets.

Read the whole thing. It'll curdle your guts. Several salient points; First, Feinstein may play the part of a doddering, octogenarian who had no idea she had been compromised but I am not buying it (mostly because this started at least 20 years ago). Case in point was earlier this year when she blamed being high on a Trayvon NyQuil shake for releasing Glenn Simpson's Fusion GPS testimony, which effectively sabotaged the investigation by allowing her co-consprators in the Deep State to get their story straight before being called on the carpet. She's a calculating political operative and despite the fact that the Maoist wing of her party wants her gone, she's spent her entire lifetime as a key member of a movement that has worked at the dismantling of this nation since its inception. Meh; she learned from the best, Bill and Hillary.

Let me not mince any words. I hold Dianne Feinstein directly responsible for whatever intelligence thefts the individuals she has had in her employ may be guilty of, if we ever are to find out the extent at all. And it has got to be massive. Also, considering the brutal crackdown on dissidents in China that continues to this day, as well as the more than likely compromising of any intelligence assets we may have had in that country, she has blood on her hands. Beyond that, the evidence is clear that her extremely close ties with the Chi-Coms has led to her influencing foreign policy that more than likely contravened both American interests and sanity - especially during the Obama reign of error when the United States all but abandoned our Asia-Pacific allies and also allowed the PRC to gain footholds around the globe. In doing so, she and her husband no doubt profited handsomely. Traitor? I think the record speaks for itself. That is, if it will ever be allowed to speak for itself.

And before leaving the subject, be sure to read the related link about how the Chi-Coms really are a bunch of sneaky bastards that are working to steal the nation out from under us.

Moving on to the other big story, the fallout from Super Tuesday and what it all portends for the November Midterms. Alyssa Milano "Cookie" crumbles out the coming talking points that the Green Party was a Russian plot to siphon votes from the Dems. Yeah, you go with that sweetie. Despite the closeness of the races, (Kobach is still in a statistical tie as of now) the President is right to crow about going 5 for 5 in races the Dems touted as harbingers of November. The RNC is even making hay about the Left's "moral victories in defeat." All well and good, but Trump can''t drag everyone over the finish line, especially if the base stays at home (which I don't think is going to happen). Than again, we have Joe's Man-Chin and Donnelly both bucking the Party and supporting border wall funding and despite the alleged country going koo-koo for kommunism, Loopy Ocasio-Fiasco's picks all got shot down in flames, as Markos Moule-Frites at Kos demands the Dems embrace the socialism or die, and we have very good essays on this including by MR fave Daniel Greenfield. That said, the number one issue is amnesty and immigration and with the hideous reports of child rapes, murder, mayhem and miscellaneous meshugas being inflicted on the citizenry by the non-citizenry while the Democrats praise their future and current constituency, why the RNC is not making a massive ad campaign with this theme is beyond me and beyond stupid.

And on that issue, as mentioned the Joe-heads supporting the wall in the upcoming budget, we have crackdowns on employers of illegals, another drop in illegal border jumping, an illegal alien serial killer may have been nabbed in Miami and pity the poor MS-13 animal who's being treated mean by the bad old police. Aww... Go die in a Feinstein, chazar paskudnyak.

In the Civil War 2.0, goons go after a GOP guy and his wife in California and Vox blasts Molly DeVos because, gasp! she has a very expensive summer house. Psst! Vox! Hot tip, there's this place called Hyannisport up in Massachusetts...

Internationally the administration colluded with Russia by sanctioning them for the nerve gas attacks in London, and despite the definite goal of China to rule the world they're not infallible as detailed in the link about them doing a 180 on hitting our oil companies with retaliatory tariffs. Closer to home, our own DoD is proving to be just as corrupt as any other federal bureaucracy, the Senate GOP is bitching at the Dems for stalling Kavanaugh's confirmation and the West Virginia legislature just impeached all four of its judges from its supreme court. I guess where there's a will there's a way but I'm still fuzzy on the details.

In the world of Islam, ISIS sympathizer feels the heat in South Carolina and another cartoonist risks losing his head over Mohammed. And in related news segueing to education, anti-semitism is surging on campus, a kid got kicked out of school for wearing an NRA shirt and Arne Duncan wished he'd done more to brainwash our kids with Commie-Corpse. Yet another reason why you got Trump, PBUH.

From hither and yon, the administration is nixing Obama-era lightbulb bans, cheerleaders are blasting the NFL over hypocritically hiring male cheerleaders while covering up past discrimination and abuse against women, interesting piece from American Thinker on the roots of America-hate and BuzzFeed needs a nice big cup full of STFU with it's hard-on for Che Guevara. Pig-Piss Be Upon him.

Quick Update: I neglected to mention the link to the Federalist piece about the border. The author draws the conclusion that no border wall will stop the flow of illegal people and drugs. Well, it certainly will slow it down. And if we continue to take away the Uncle Sugar incentives of free bennies, ramp up the "repatriations" and throw employers in jail and fine them out the wa-zoo, then that's a wall in and of itself and perhaps even more impenetrable than concrete - jjs
