Garbage On The Beach? Blame Israel And The Jooos!

This sounds great! Lebanon sinks tanks in Mediterranean to make new reef. The army (such as it is) had some old armor, so why not use it to build an artificial reef? They sure won't float away, and there are all sorts of nooks and crannies for sea life to use. And the message is a nice one too...weapons of war repurposed for peaceful and constructive goals.

But, as usual, the Arab mind is incapable of acting without its reflexive Jew-hate emerging. This really amazed me, and i am not often surprised by the capacity of Arabs to infuse even the most noble causes with sordid and vile thoughts. But here it is!

But this is not just an environmental project. The group have also purposefully pointed the tanks towards their southern neighbour, Israel.

According to Mr Kozbar, it was done "out of solidarity for the Palestinian people".

Maybe they should take some of that anger and resentment and vast sense of inferiority (well earned I must say, judging by their lack of military success) and clean the garbage off the beaches, which used to be the pride of the Levant.
