Thug Attacks Teenager for Wearing MAGA Hat
"Confrontation," they're calling it.
This "confrontation" happened in a Whattaburger, but the guy didn't work for Whattaburger and that company has condemned his actions. He did work, part-time, as a bartender, but that bar has now fired him.
Hey, remember that article that Splinter.com, a division of Univision, ran, which endorsed political violence? The one with the headline "This is Just the Beginning," over a picture of a car on fire due to antifa? The one that said "This is all going to get more extreme. And it should." ?
Do you think that being asked to leave a restaurant, or having your meal interrupted, or being called by the public is bad? My fascism-enabling friends, this is only the beginning.
One thing that people who wield great power often fail to viscerally understand is what it feels like to have power wielded against you....
By and large, the people responsible for these decisions [which leftwing lunatics don't like] will be wealthy and famous and powerful enough to insulate themselves from those costs. Unless we decide to see to it that they must face them.
This is all going to get more extreme. And it should. ... These people, who are pushing America merrily down the road to fascism and white nationalism, are delusional if they do not think that the backlash is going to get much worse. Wait until the recession comes. Wait until Trump starts a war. Wait until the racism this administration is stoking begins to explode into violence more frequently. Read a fucking history book. Read a recent history book. The U.S. had thousands of domestic bombings per year in the early 1970s. This is what happens when citizens decide en masse that their political system is corrupt, racist, and unresponsive. The people out of power have only just begun to flex their dissatisfaction. The day will come, sooner that you all think, when Trump administration officials will look back fondly on the time when all they had to worry about was getting hollered at at a Mexican restaurant. When you aggressively fuck with people's lives, you should not be surprised when they decide to fuck with yours.
Stop working for this man. Stop enabling him. Stop assisting him. Start fighting him. The people who are responsible for what is happening are not going to get out of this with their happy wealthy respectable lives unscathed.
Splinter.com, which is owned by Univision -- which is granted broadcast rights by our government -- is agitating for actual political violence.
Corporations granted broadcast rights by the FCC are required to broadcast "in the public interest." I don't know if a related website agitating for widespread savage violence and, it seems, for the return of Bill Ayers style domestic terrorism, counts against that, but I think someone should take a look-see.
This guy, Tim Pool, talks about this article and questions if the left is really prepared to live, or die, with the consequences of what it's agitating for.
I have not seen CNN or any leftwing news outlet condemn this call for a Bill Ayers-style domestic bombing campaign. I therefore conclude they tacitly support it.
I am forced into that conclusion because their own rule is that if a conservative does not denounce something said 2000 miles away from him, he must be charged with "supporting" that thing. If they impose this rule on others, I assume they also impose it on themselves.
