The Morning Report 6/5/18

eatme.jpg

Good morning kids. We now resume your regularly scheduled meshugas. Many thanks to CBD and Mis. Hum. for filling in whilst away. Lots to cover and little time to do it in thanks to a bit of jet lag so here we go.

First up, the big story today is the overwhelming 7-2 decision by the Supreme Court to uphold the first amendment in the Masterpiece Cake Shop decision. While this is great news for obvious reasons, does shop owner Jack Phillips get to recover all his legal costs from the terrorists who destroyed him financially and put him through hell (yes indeed, this was an act of terrorism)? On another note, the big question is how does this square with the insane gay marriage ruling? The short answer is it doesn't and so we are in somewhat of a constitutional pickle. In any case, it's always fun to see the Leftists' collective heads explode. But remember Lefties, we must respect the ruling of the court as final. The law is settled. Suck on that one. Meh, they respect nothing and this is far from over at least from the perspective of flouting the rule of law to advance their aims by any and all means necessary. Still, it is schadenbonery.

Moving on to the Mueller clown show, the aforementioned crooked cop is now accusing Paul Manafort with preemptive witness tampering before his trial and PDT is claiming that he does indeed have the right to pardon himself, which sent slimy tinpot stooges like Steve Cohen and Jerrold Nadler into paroxysms of rage, citing the framers and the Revolution. Ironic considering their utter loathing of same. In any case, it's Trump merely playing them and the media for full effect in highlighting the fact that this entire thing is indeed a witch hunt.

Meanwhile, the real criminals continue to go unpunished, although their image such as it is and was, takes a beating. Of course, I am referring to the Clintons. Bill Clinton went off on a reporter the other day for daring to ask him about apologizing to Monica Lewinsky and is now having to backtrack, while his victims are naturally none too thrilled with his phony mea culpa. Meanwhile, Debbie Wasserman-Test went apeshit on House investigators and accused them of, get this, Islamophobia for bringing up the Awans and her relationship to them. Heh.

And in a not unrelated bit of news, as we segue into foreign affairs, the Chi-Coms have reportedly successfully tested a new ICBM that his multiple warheads. You might recall that Bill Clinton essentially gave away MIRV technology back in the mid-90s in exchange for, you guessed it, cash. I do not think it is hyperbole to say that all things considered, that amounts to treason. Here's a little game; go ask any Lefty or for that matter any average American if they ever heard the words Loral Space Industries before.

Moving right along, as the PDT/Whoa, Fat! summit draws nearer, there is news that the chunky dictator has evidently sacked three of his top military commanders who had previously been close confidantes and advisers to his father. Some experts see the move as an indicator that the latest version of Kim wants to institute some free market reforms a la Vietnam and the PRC. Stay tuned. On other fronts, some disturbing news that the Administration is still moving ahead with the sale of F-35 fighters to Turkey despite the latter's alliance with Iran, Syria and the Russians as well as their overt threats against Israel. I suppose that that's still Deep Staters in the State Dept. and DoD but I can't imagine PDT letting this stand. And speaking of embeds, an ex-DIA agent is accused of being a spy for the Chi-Coms, but then again with the likes of Bill Clinton as well as Brennan and Clapper, who needs spies? In any case, John Bolton has hired a Deep State nemesis to help drain his part of the swamp to help PDT with that goal.

From hither and yon, some promising news in the war on cancer, the President is moving to bring prescription drug prices down, a Michigan State health physicist is accused of sex with a dog (an actual canine) and animal rights activists keep f***ing those chickens. It's good to be back in the blue room, ladies and germs.

Anyway, links from around the world, across the nation and up your street. Have a better one and remain blessed.
