Trump Fires Attorney, Reportedly Over Disagreement About Whether Trump Should Sit for an Interview with Mueller's Team
Trump wants to do it; Dowd was adamant that he shouldn't.
Dowd is right.
John Dowd was the attorney who made news by tweeting last week that Robert Mueller should be fired. One panelist on Fox, forget who, suggested his tweet was a matter of "client management" -- maybe Trump was demanding a more aggressive posture Dowd thought was unwise, so, to appease him, Dowd sent a provocative tweet to show some (relatively harmless) aggression.
Not sure if that has anything to do with the resignation.
