Blue Wave Receding? New Marist Poll Shows Democratic Advantage in Congressional Midterms Plummeting
It had reached a high of +13, but now it's fallen to about half that, +6.
Wait until the Democrats shut down the American government to keep foreigners illegally in-country.
And the economy's still heating up. It hasn't hit top heat yet.
So maybe the Democrats should stop s***ing each other's d***s.
Nah. It's what they love.
Thursday's poll found more welcome news for Republicans among registered voters who identify as Independents.
Among those voters, Republicans led by 2 points, with 38 percent of those voters saying they’d vote for the GOP candidate, while 36 percent said the Democratic candidate. In December, polling found that Democrats were leading among Independent voters by 11 points.
Ed Morrissey points out that Democrats also tend to underperform their polls in midterm elections.
The blue wave might be a wash-out.
