The Morning Report 12/22/17

Good morning kids. The weekend is here and what a week it has been. Rush went on an extensive monologue about just how significant the tax reform bill is from an economic and political standpoint for the President, the GOP and the American people going forward. It is well worth the read or the listen from the podcast for all its schaden-bonery goodness. I will comment on all of that in a moment.

In the lead this morning, however, are the growing revelations about how ex-president Obama in essence colluded with Hezbollah by quashing an investigation into the terrorist organization's American drug-running operations here in the US in order to curry favor with their overlords in Tehran to ensure passage of the hideous nuke sellout deal. There are several links that are directly related and one which, when viewed through the lens of this scandal (which is an understatement, really) brings a much more frightening picture of who this man was and frankly, considering the Deep State attempted coup still in progress, still is.

Of course, sure as night follows day, the media propagandists and flacks are jumping out ahead of this erupting story in order to try and deflect, obfuscate and minimize the ramifications of the facts as well as cast aspersions and impugn the forthrightness of the investigators trying to expose this. Also, considering what we know about Imran Awan, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and Hillary Clinton vis a vis the e-mail coverup, the Hezbollah collusion takes on an entirely new and frightening meaning.

Step back a bit further now, and add this to everything we have seen and witnessed during the 8-year Reign of Error. Beyond subverting the rule of law and the Constitution, and weaponizing the instrumentalities of the Federal government to persecute his political opponents, if the facts of this Hezbollah scandal are confirmed, it will prove beyond all doubt that he parlayed and colluded with one of the world's most dangerous terrorist groups - a sworn enemy of this nation and one with the blood of Americans and others on its hands - for his own political gain and worse, by extension considering the nature of the players and what they were engaged in, to cause direct harm to the citizenry of the United States on our own soil. Given all of this, it would not be hyperbolic on my part to declare right here that Barack Obama is a straight-up traitor to this nation; most definitely in the moral sense and quite possibly in the legal sense of that word. Despicable.

On a much more positive note, we get back to the tax bill and a few other things around Capitol Hill. Miss Lindsay is kvetching (or more accurately, posturing) about McConnell's failure to implement Repeal and Replace and so is hawking his own bill. What frosts me about much of this is that after showing a spine with the Tax Bill, they are reverting to the typical RINO nonsense of trying to tinker around the edges and preserve the biggest of big government intrusions into our lives with our health insurance and health care industries. Why is it that every time the Democrats proclaim something must be done about whatever the crisis-du-jour may be at the time, instead of just telling them to pound sand the GOP accepts the meme of a problem and introduces a big government solution of their own? I know the answer to that one. But in any case, I get the fact that with the mandate gone, chaos is bound to ensue as the law is now on a clear timeline to fail. But instead of Grahamaphrodite's or Susan "I'll Have Another Tom" Collins' Obamacare "fix," (feh!), just at the very least restore the market to what it was in 2010 AND break up the forced oligopoly of the insurance companies and allow us to purchase any plan we want across state lines? Sheesh.

I digressed for a bit, but it's interesting to note that even the execrable Bob Corker has had a mini come-to-Jesus moment vis a vis the media's treatment of Trump. Mostly because after voting for the tax bill, the media has now turned on him. Can't really say I feel sorry for him all things considered but let it be a lesson, both to him and the rest of the RINOs.

Nikki Haley, a woman who, unlike Hillary Clinton, may very well one day be President of the United States, read the riot act to the 128 shitty little countries that let their Joo- and America-hating freak flags fly by censuring us at the UN. Bravo. The money is better spent and/or saved right here at home. And with a few hundred billion not going overseas to people who hate us, we can build one helluva border wall, amiright?

A couple of nice roundups of the administration's impressive score for its first year, including the picks of Haley as well as Scott Pruitt and Ajit Pai. PDT, VP Pence and Mad Dog Mattis all took surprise trips to rally the troops. Class acts, all. We have a point-counterpoint on the President's commutation of Shlomo Rubashkin, who was imprisoned for employing dozens of illegal aliens and lastly a long and somewhat chewy essay on how the Davis-Bacon Law of 1931 was a major factor in the dissolution of the black family and a precursor to the troubles perpetually plaguing that sector of American society and really as a result all of us. With the incredible news that in the first year of the Trump era, black unemployment is at a 17-year low, if the President can somehow in his inimitable and attention-grabbing style shine a light on how the Democrat-Left have destroyed the very people they claim to champion, he could deliver a crushing rhetorical body blow to that party and more importantly, finally end the slow-motion intentional genocide of black America and fully integrate them into American society. That would be something to see.
