The Morning Report 12/1/17
Good morning kids. Yesterday, as were on the cusp of ending the week high on the crashing and burning of the Democrat-Leftist-Media Complex via the Groperdammerung/Twilight of the Codpieces, a court, if you could call it that, in California gave the rule of law and America as founded a steel boot to the groin by finding the illegal alien who killed an American citizen not guilty in what should have been an open and shut case of murder or at the very least manslaughter.
Considering the political atmosphere in California and its collective attitude towards the rest of the nation in general, and this President in particular, I suppose it really shouldn't be all that much of a surprise. Matt Gonzalez, (who evidently was Ralph Nader's running mate 9 years ago) the defense attorney for the illegal alien killer Jose Zarate said:
For those who might criticize this verdict, there are a number of people that have commented on this case in the last couple years, the Attorney General of the United States, the President and Vice President of the United States. Let me just remind them that they are themselves under investigation by a special prosecutor in Washington, DC and they may themselves soon avail themselves of the presumption of innocence and beyond a reasonable doubt standard. And so I would ask them to reflect on that before they comment or disparaged the result in this case.
When the bile settles back to your stomach and your BP notches down, take a deep breath and look at that statement. It is from a mouthpiece of an entity, California, that has declared itself not only no longer bound by the laws, mores and customs of the nation it is a part of, and the morality of a God in Heaven that it chooses to ignore, but that also seeks to forcibly impose its laws, mores and customs on that nation that let it become a part of almost 170 years ago. This is the face of insurrection. This is the face of dissolution. This is the face of persecution and of an attitude of ends justifying means and by any means necessary. Make no mistake; what we are witnessing with the state of California is exactly the same as that of what we saw in Mississippi in 1964. I grieve for the memory of Kate Steinle, her family and friends, and for this nation. This situation cannot go on much longer. It really is either us or them. War.
In other news, the completely partisan CBO has stepped in and is attempting to sabotage the tax bill in the Senate. My fear is that in a frantic attempt to appease the obviously leftist momzers at CBO, the GOP is going to screw up and water down what is by some accounts a thin gruel and merely nibbling around the edges. Hoping PDT takes to Twitter and rakes the CBO over the coals.
And of course, RINO Tom Perdue is offering DACA Amnesty if the Democrats pinky-swear to end chain migration. Please, Senator Perdue; STFU and STFD.
Also, we see that somewhere ManBearPig must be having a conniption because the latest actual scientific report (based on actual science and not the screenwriting class at the Patrice Lmumba University Film School) shows that the lull in warming has been going on now for 23 years. But we're all deniers!
On a positive note, the administration reversed itself on a case that could take denude a hell of a lot of power from the administrative state. Like the CFPB, it's about the executive branch claiming its constitutional right to determine the hiring/firing of administrative judges within agencies, which evidently to this point, the agencies themselves were doing in a fox-guarding-henhouse manner.
Lastly, I'll bet you didn't see the story about an HIV positive school aide who is charged with several dozen counts of sexual offenses with children. It's too bad this deviant is not a celebrity or newscaster where he can issue an apology and then come back in a year or so as an elder statesman of the journalistic community.
Spitting mad and disgusted beyond belief at everything today. Anyway, links from around the world, across the nation and up your street. Have a better one and remain blessed.
UPDATE: Bad link to Front Page Mag from the Kansas story. Something extra from that great site on the bottom to take its place.
