The Morning Report 11/28/17

Good morning kids. Let's dive right in, shall we? In the lead is James O'Keefe's Project Veritas was conducting a sting against the National Laughingstock (aka Washington Post) and evidently got caught by the target. Veritas was baiting them with a woman posing as a victim of Roy Moore; to make it juicier, she claimed to have had his love child when she was a teenager back in the 70s.

The takeaway here is not that getting caught by your mark, in this case the Post, does not discount the underlying objective of the sting - to prove that that organization is nothing more than a propaganda rag and house organ of, by and for the Left. Project Veritas are the real journalists; their record since coming to the fore during the Obama reign of error speaks for itself.

Moving along, Al Franken held a joke of a presser - that is to anyone with a moral compass. Of course he won't step down and neither will John Conyers, although with regard to the latter, Nancy Pelosi is going all wobbly on her staunch defense of the octogenarian Marxist pervert. So far, the only voice on their side of the aisle blasting all of this is one lone Congresswoman from, of all places, Long Island, who has called for Franken's head and blasted Pelosi in the bargain.

In a related development, yesterday we heard rumblings that Al Green (the idiot congressman, not the iconic soul singer) may be the next to get hit with accusations but now, Raul "tarantula-face" Grijalva reportedly paid hush money from yet another slush fund to silence one of his victims.

And could this be related? The execrable Luis Gutierrez, the FALN terrorist supporting congress-fiend from Chicago who has been the face of the illegal alien invasion for several decades has decided "no mas" to another term. Hmm. Overjoyed never to see him again but that is tempered by the knowledge that there are dozens if not hundreds like him ready to take his place.

Moving right along, on Rush's show yesterday he came right out and proclaimed Komrade Kolonel Sanders as the Democrat nominee for 2020. Maybe he's trolling the Democrats with that one, but in any case, there is a real civil war in that party between the left hand and the far left hand.

The Insurrectionists are making a stand at the CFPB by both suing the President and insisting that Richard Cordray's assistant commissar and Obama flunky takes his place. In a sane world, the CFPB would not even exist, but in a sane world, they have absolutely zero case; the President has clear, unmistakable authority to choose who heads that agency. Judging from the state of the judiciary, that situation remains alarmingly fluid. It would be a huge torpedo hit to the vitals of the enemy to take that thing down from within.

And speaking of a corrupt judiciary, SCOTUS has refused to take a crucial 2nd amendment case and so an automatic weapons ban is the law of the land. Feh.
