The Morning Rant: J.V. Edition

What's so difficult about this? If I want someone to touch me I let them. If I don't, I throw poo at them. Clearly there isn't enough poo-flinging in the elevators of the Capitol.

I don't recall reading any of Christine Rousselle's other stuff, so I will defer judgement on her journalistic chops, but her article: Cokie Roberts: Oh, We All Knew To Avoid Getting in An Elevator With Rep. Conyers falls far short of the appropriate condemnation of the cozy relationship the media have with politicians of the appropriate party.

Speaking on ABC's "This Week," Cokie Roberts made a startling admission: "every female in the press corps knew" to avoid being in an elevator with Rep. John Conyers (D-MI), and has apparently known about this "for years." Conyers has been accused of multiple instances of sexual harassment and has stepped down from the House Judiciary Committee.

Does anyone doubt that Cokie would have done a nine-part exposé on "Rape In The Halls Of The Capitol" had the ass-grabber been a Republican?

So to Cokie Roberts and all of the other "journalists" who ignored a big story in furtherance of their political beliefs, I address two points:

First, how many unsuspecting women were attacked by Conyers and the other predators in Congress because you kept their dirty big secret? Were any raped. molested, driven from their jobs? If so, it is on your pointy little heads!

Second, fvck you for your craven and arrogant belief that you were serving the greater good by keeping those sordid secrets from a public that is owed the information. The Constitution doesn't protect the press from government interference on the condition that it is protected in return. Your only function is to pull back the curtains and expose government, not coddle it to protect your perks. You are disgusting, immoral whores (and I apologize to the real whores who actually give value).

Thank you Presidents Clinton and Obama for increasing the probability of a nuclear war, probably in the Middle East, but possibly in the Far East. In a few hundred years the history books will, hopefully, fully reflect your ignorance, your desire for personal aggrandizement over the needs of the country, and your catastrophic decision-making that has led to the current mess.
