This is the HSBC building in Hong Kong after the Sutherland Springs church shooting. I have no basis for comparison, but according to Realpolitik, this would not be done if the view of America was that of a weakened and marginalized country.

The press has done a fine job of minimizing President Trump's accomplishments, but even the NYT has recognized that he is reshaping the federal judiciary "with young and deeply conservative judges." And it is happening at a brisk pace!

It remains to be seen how successful the president will be with legislation...As J.J. Sefton has chronicled over the past week, the tax plan is problematic. ObamaCare is the law of the land for now. But the judiciary is a long-term change that has the greatest chance of pulling America back from the abyss.
