The Morning Report 11/8/17

Good morning kids. Woke up late so apologies for being a bit light on content. The big story this morning is the elections and as generally expected, the Democrats picked up the governorships in New Jersey and Virginia, the latter being the marquee race this time around. I'll spare you links to the results because at this point they're tedious, so let's do some analysis. The Left is spinning this as some sort of gigantic repudiation of PDT. It isn't. The salient points are that 1-these were in blue states to begin with (Yes, Virginia, you're a blue state now) 2-Despite being utterly crushed by taxes and insane socialism from Trenton, New Jersey was sick of the Krispy Kreosote taint and so rejected Kim Guadagno, and 3-As J. Christian Adams writes, Ed Gillespie, a long time creature of the swamp, ran a JEB! campaign in a Donald Trump world. Sadly, Virginia now mirrors perhaps every deep blue state in that a large metropolitan area utterly swamps the rest of the state at the polls. And speaking of taint, the specter of voter fraud hangs over both states vis a vis illegal aliens voting and the usual meshugas and cheating that the Democrats need to ensure a victory. Also, taint sweat: DeBolshevik gets four more years to rape my hometown. Feh.

Other things to consider are the link about the CNN poll of all things that shows the Democrat Party at a 25-year low in approval. The only thing galvanizing them now is an abject hatred for PDT. If he can somehow get the GOP to pass even a modest amount of tax cuts and reform he can I think sink their chances in both the midterms and 2020. I think the base will hold firm and blame the GOP and not him for the lack of legislative progress. But if we can continue the Bannon-led purging of the RINOs then so much the better. That said, never underestimate the Democrats. They will never accept defeat, no matter who is in office. And PDT has enraged them beyond anything ever imagined. Good.

Before I leave this topic, I want to register my deep disappointment bordering on irritation at Matt Drudge. He's swallowing the "big Democrat win" meme hook, line and sinker. Pro tip my friend, from a lowly co-blogger at a smart military blog: keep it up and you'll turn into Hot Air Two, no-click boogaloo. And I would not want to see that happen to you.

Lots more stuff including PDT landing in China today for a summit with Xi Jinping, that staunch supporter of your inalienable rights John Cornyn is ready to talk with Dems about more gun regulations, Ted Lieu is a vile piece of shit, Joy Reid is a waste of space and lastly, and tragically, is what one juror on Democrat Senator Menendez's corruption trial asked for a definition of. Dear Lord, this country is lost.
