Mass Shooting in Sutherland Springs, TX Church; Update: At Least 27 Dead and 30 Injured

Terrible.

A gunman who reportedly shot and killed multiple people at a Texas church on Sunday has been fatally shot by police, Fox News has confirmed.
The "mass shooting" was reported at First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs, which is about 30 miles southeast of San Antonio. A witness told KSAT that a man walked into the church about 11:30 a.m. Sunday and opened fire at the crowd of people. The church holds morning worship services at 11 a.m., according to its website.

This is pure wild-assed-guess speculation, and probably reckless, but yesterday was Antifa's
failed day of protests, and today is Guy Fawkes Day, and Guy Fawkes is an icon of the violent anarchist community.

Update: Death Toll Is Heartbreaking.
27 dead, 30 injured, at last count, and sadly some of the injured will probably not pull through. (The latter isn't reported news, just a general observation about violence.)

BTW, commenters make the sound point that while it may tempt some (like me) to posit a political motivation -- everything's a nail when your daily job is swinging a hammer -- it's probably more likely that this is just a deranged killer.
