The Morning Report 10/16/17
Good morning kids. Hope you all had a great weekend, and for California Morons, we're praying that you and your loved ones are safe, sound and as untouched by the wildfires as possible, which by reports I have seen are starting to get under control.
Several items are of course noteworthy in and of themselves but if you take a step back and put them into a broader context, then you see a definite trend emerging. And for me, it's a good one IMHO. Let's sort them all out; first up is the continuing fallout over the downfall of Harvey Weinstein, not just in the exposure of his crimes that are growing in both number and severity, but by what they say of our cultural rot as well as the embarrassing ties to the institutional Left and the Democrat Party.
Second, we have the reaction from those who allegedly are on our side of political spectrum but as is now readily apparent are with the insurrection to one degree or another. Instead of rightfully making political hay out of Weinstein vis a vis the hypocrisy of the Democrat-MFM-Kultur-Complex vis a vis "the war on women" they continue to attempt to overthrow the President. Bad enough that Brad Sherman and Max-Scene Waters from the rogue failed state of California are pushing for his impeachment via the 25th Amendment or "whatever we say it is," but former Bushie and perpetual oleaginous turd Michael Gerson is cheering them on.
Next, the Democrats are in full freakout mode because the President is following the letter of the law of Obamacare in gutting it - the very same law they and schmucks like John "Old Overholt and a pack of Luckies" Boehner claimed was "the law of the land." Petards be foisted, yo.
Meanwhile, most Americans have utterly rejected the hoax that is global warming, climate change, climate disruption, nom du jour so much so that the propaganda barrage is so remarkably unsubtle as the odor left by a Michael Moore projectile colitis attack in a phone booth. On the very day PBS airs an alarmist documentary that basically equates the Scott Pruitt-run EPA to the Einsatzgruppen, we learn that ocean levels around the globe are falling.
Also of note, Austria, known chiefly for waltzes, pastry and fascist dictators has decided that they too have had enough of the EU-imposed Muslim invasion, and in a fit of pique that would've pinned back Peter Jennings ears, went out and elected an anti-immigrant president who dislikes the EU and, get this, is a 31-year-old millennial. Hmm.
Then there's the throwing back of the phony Iran sellout to the Senate as well as the sanctioning of the IRGC, the Iranian regime's chief enforcer and source of funding, and the emergence of Steve Bannon as a political force to be reckoned with who is hell bent on taking over or destroying the GOP-e, then what it all adds up to me is that perhaps we are witnessing a pivotal moment in the struggle to take back the country. Note, I don't think we have passed THE moment; I think there are going to be dozens or perhaps hundreds of moments like this over the ensuing 10-20 years. But I think that, barring unforeseen circumstances, the culture is shifting in our favor. Slowly, perhaps barely perceptibly. But it is shifting. And Bannon is right; one election is not going to be the be-all and end-all. This is a long term struggle. The one area that he has not been vocal about, mostly I guess because it's not in his wheelhouse, is EDUCATION. Everything is downstream from that and so we need as many Steve Bannons and PDTs as we can get to go after that. Otherwise, I fear that the PDT legacy will not be built upon. But for now, exciting times.
Anyway, links from around the world, across the nation and up your street. Have a better one and remain blessed.
