You: There's No Way Hillary Clinton Will Keep Playing The #FemaleCard Now That She Has No Races Left to Lose
Hillary Clinton: Check Your Assumption, Male #Hater
An article from last week noted that Democrats were worried about Hillary Clinton's new book -- that it would be uncomfortable and bad for the party to hear this brokedown hag's endless excuses again.
Democrats, reveling in President Donald Trump’s plummeting popularity and the Republican Party’s civil wars, are looking forward to September. Except for one thing: the rollout of Hillary Clinton’s next book right after Labor Day.
Clinton has promised to “let my guard down” in the book, "What Happened," explaining her shocking loss to Trump in November. She has already offered up several explanations, blaming Russian interference, former FBI director James Comey, and misogyny, while also acknowledging tactical errors by her campaign.
Many Washington Democrats, though unwilling to criticize her in public, wish she’d "move on," as Senator Al Franken has put it. They fear that her complaints help Trump make his case that the controversies surrounding him flow from the Democrats’ bitterness about their 2016 loss.
That's silly. I'm sure Hillary Clinton, a strong and stable woman, will not just be recounting her litany of excuses in print form.
The gist of her message next month, based on her public statements and accounts of private conversations from people who’ve talked to her, will be: I accept the blame for what happened, but the bigger problems were Russian meddling, Comey’s on-again, off-again handling of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s probe of her private email server, the Democratic Party, and maybe even some of her own campaign staffers.
Ah. I see.
Well, Hillary will be adding a few new complaints, including this one: Trump Breath-Raped me.
She read an excerpt of this gothic-horror-novel excerpt about Trump "looming" behind her at a debate, and breathing upon her sacred harridan Fatneck, and the chills of horror that went up her spine.
CLINTON: This was not okay, I thought. It was the second presidential debate and Donald Trump was looming behind me. Two days before, the world heard him brag about groping women. Now we were on a small stage and no matter where I walked, he followed me closely, staring at me, making faces.
It was incredibly uncomfortable. He was literally breathing down my neck. My skin crawled. It was one of those moments where you wish you could hit pause and ask everyone watching, "Well, what would you do?" Do you stay calm, keep smiling and carry on as if he weren't repeatedly invading your space? Or do you turn, look him in the eye and say loudly and clearly, 'Back up, you creep. Get away from me. I know you love to intimidate women, but you can't intimidate me, so back up.'
I choose Option A. I kept my cool, aided by a lifetime of dealing with difficult men trying to throw me off. I did, however, grip the microphone extra hard.
Video at that second link.
