Insane: SJW ESPN Pulls Asian American Broadcaster from UVa Football Game, Because His Name Is -- And Remember, He's Asian American -- Robert Lee

Robert Lee. Get it? Like Robert E. Lee, except this Lee name is unrelated to the Confederate general Lee name, being that it's actually Chinese, and it's usually transliterated as "Li," or "Lie," or "Lei," and it means "plum tree."

The English name "lee" also has to do with trees, vaguely, sometimes meaning a meadow or woods, but also meaning (depending on which "Lee" we mean, whether the Celtic, Irish, or English version) "healer" or "shelter" (the latter, probably directly related to the lee or sheltered side of a mountain or wall).

Anyway, despite Robert Lee having nothing to do with Robert E. Lee except sharing the same common first name, Social Justice Warrior ESPN has decided it would be too triggering for its quivering retard viewers to have him announcing the UVa football game.

ESPN ISSUES OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON MOVING ROBERT LEE FROM VIRGINIA GAME:

“We collectively made the decision with Robert to switch games as the tragic events in Charlottesville were unfolding, simply because of the coincidence of his name. In that moment it felt right to all parties. It’s a shame that this is even a topic of conversation and we regret that who calls play by play for a football game has become an issue.”
