Another Vehicular Ramming Attack in Paris, Directed at Group of Soldiers; Six Injured, Perp Arrested

They're not sending their best people.

Authorities in France aren’t quite saying this was terrorism yet but they are saying the attack was deliberate. The suspect sat in a rented BMW waiting for a shift change then accelerated into a group of six soldiers.

Pat Poole, citing an NBC report, says the suspect is, get this, a North African man.

According to the French paper Le Figaro, the suspect is being called "Hamoud B." by police. They claim he was previously unknown to intelligence services, though he had been flagged for (I don't know French law, so this is a guess) an infraction of the law regarding foreign visitors to the country.

Le Fig identifies him as Algerian and says he is currently too injured to be interviewed by police.

They were rammed while changing shift not far from city hall.
