The Morning Report 8/7/17

Good morning kids. Another week begins and in the lead, the NorK crisis contines, with the Chi-Coms indicating they will do no more to restrain Whoa, Fat! while simultaneously leveling harsh criticism at the US (in other words, a day ending in "Y"). What is concerning is the open summit between the NorKs and the Farsis who are no doubt the source of much of the former's nuke and missile capabilities, and that is something that should concern all of us. My thinking is that, at least in the short term, a Korean nuke is more likely to reach us via our southern border and travel in a suitcase than an ICBM.

Which leads us to the continuing meltdown of the situation in Venezuela. Something has to be done to stabilize that situation lest it bleed into neighboring Colombia, as well as the rest of Central and South America. And speaking of Iran, that country and Venezuela developed an alarmingly cozy relationship under Hugo Chavez and is doubtless continuing under Maduro. The strategic implications, which I hinted at above, are obvious.

Next up, the fallout of McMustard and his loyalties continues. Evidently PDT is convinced he's a stand-up guy even as evidence mounts that he is perhaps the single most dangerous Deep State operative in the administration. There's also a rather galling piece about the GOP's new campaign ad warning voters that electing Dems will lead to single payer. No! Really?! That party is dead to me.

Lastly, another BP-raiser courtesy of the great Front Page Mag wherein the race hustler industry is warning people not to give in to racism just because a black man happened to rape and murder a white woman.
