The Morning Report 8/3/17

Good morning kids. Getting over a bit of a cold so I'll keep this brief. A few good links about the clusterf**k of healthcare "reform" and the dangerous path we seem to be on.... That is, the path to single-payer national health. Ironic that after giving the GOP 3/3rds of 100% of the government that this is what they'll do, because "bipartisanship!"

Not unrelated, Mitch McConnell is interfering with the Alabama special senatorial election and trying to install an establishment stooge instead of backing a solid conservative. Mo Brooks and Justice Roy Moore are vying for that seat. Don't know much about Moore but I am a huge Mo Brooks fan. He is solid which is why McConnell is pouring in money for Luther Strange who is not only a total establishment tool but get this, involved in some very shady corruption. Perfect, Mitch. This has the potential sadly to turn into another Thad Cochran fiasco. Preserve, protect and defend the Leviathan. Feh.
