The National Laughinstock: Steve Scalise's Assassin Wasn't Incited by Rachel Maddow, or Bernie Sanders, or MSNBC, or CNN;
He Was Motivated By a Very Local Right Wing Pro-Trump Radio Host
Makes as much sense on anything else on CNN or the National Laughingstock, I guess.
A bizarre Washington Post article that ran over the weekend ("In Alexandria shooter’s hometown, rage-filled radio host channels middle America’s inner frustration") has readers shaking their heads in disbelief.
The article strongly suggests, without evidence, that left-wing terrorist James T. Hodgkinson was influenced by a right-wing radio host in his hometown.
The article notes that the radio host in question is a racist who drops the n-word with aplomb and likes talking up his Caucasian heritage.
So what experts does the National Laughingstock turn to as to whether they think that this pro-Trump goof could have influenced the Trump-hating Hodgkinson?
Why, they turned to this radio host's core audience, a group very familiar with his show:
The journalist went to a black church in town and apparently asked members if they thought Hodgkinson was influenced by Romanik.
Outstanding.
And #VeryFakeNews.
