NeverTrump Nominal Right Focusing on Trump's Mean Tweets, While Ignoring Much More "Triggering" Story by Leftist Good Friend Reporter

Anne Applebaum discovers a several-week old NRA ad by Dana Loesch and accuses Loesch of telling people to arm up to shoot liberals. "Violence is coming," she warns.

Couple of problems: the ad is for the NRA, but in fact Dana Loesch talks about fighting against media lies with a "clenched fist of truth," not weapons, and certainly not guns.

A clenched fist of truth is obviously not even an actual fist.

Another problem is this: the date of the ad. Applebaum is just hearing about it now from her leftist follow-list, but Dana Loesch was warning about the violence from the left in a different age: two days before one of Anne Applebaum's fellow progressives decided to shoot up a baseball field while #HuntingRepublicanCongressmen.

In other words: To the extent Loesch was warning about leftist violence, she was prescient, not alarmist.

And in fact armed people did stop that attempted massacre from becoming a completed massacre.

Now, I've asked Anne Applebaum about this several times, and so has Sean Davis, who pointed this out.

She's ignored us, because that's what people do when they're caught in an embarrassing circumstance and think they can just make it go away by not acknowledging it.

The NeverTrump Nominal Right could spur her into responding -- after all, they're the Respectable Ones who crave leftist approbation, and they're the ones the left likes to quote in reaction to any political development involving Trump -- but it seems they've decided to take their Good Friends on the Left's word for it that The Big Story of the Day is Trump's tweets, not actual political violence, nor the left's continuing hit-and-cry tactics regarding the same.

Exit Question: When your Good Friends in the Leftist Media decide for you every day what The Big Story is -- without you ever seeming to have any disagreement with their choices, or any independent thoughts about the matter -- in what sense are you any kind of alternative, oppositional, or corrective media?

Why do we need you to say all the exact same things that Expert Media Professionals with Multiple Layers of Painstaking Fact-Checking Editorial Oversight are already saying?

Aren't your Good Friends better at that than you are? They are Credentialed Experts, after all -- which I understand most of you are big believers in.

If you follow their lead (or lede) every single day -- Then What Is The Point of You?
