Good morning, kids. Well today's the big day in GA-6. The Democrats are convinced that John Ossoff, a carpetbagging dork who doesn't even live in the district he's running in, will defeat the GOP candidate Karen Handel, and finally hand President Trump the defeat that will effectively end his presidency. One congressional seat, after having lost well over a thousand up and down the line since 2010. And of course, if he loses, the reaction will be it's no big deal. Also of note, evidently McConnell really is going to move ahead with the Obamacare Repeal/Replace bill and the Democrats are livid that they are being shut out of the process. My advice to them is have a nice big cup of shut-the-f**k-up considering how this garbage was rammed down our throats in 2010. That said, I should temper my enthusiasm considering that it's a fair bet the final bill will do precious little to actually restore the status quo to 2010, let alone promote free market solutions. We shall see. A potentially huge case concerning gerrymandering is going to go to SCOTUS which will have huge ramifications for the balance of power in Congress. The Democrats are hoping for a decision (sound familiar) that will reverse their electoral wipeout and preserve, if not artificially increase, their power. What else is new, right? Anyway, links from around the world, across the nation and up your street. Have a better one and remain blessed.
