Flashback: DNC Hired Provocateurs, With Hillary Campaign's Money, to Start Violence at Trump Rallies
Remember?
Our small window of civility is quickly closing, but before it does I would like to remind the "everyone has to tone down their rhetoric" crowd that one side is more violence-oriented than the other. One side has its leaders, figureheads, and celebrities fomenting anger with their violent rhetoric on the news and on their late-night TV "entertainment" shows. When there is an incident, these leaders make excuses for the perpetrators. The right certainly has its share of folks that step over the line. The difference is that the RNC, the party leadership, the leaders of our various groups, and the anchors on Fox News or radio aren't agitating for confrontations with alarmist and dire warnings -- and they condemn such confrontations quickly when they do happen.
So let's take a walk down memory lane to last year when we learned the DNC/Clinton campaign's hired thugs were "bird-dogging" and sending mentally unstable people to Trump rallies to provoke attendees with hopes of getting some violence on tape to broadcast how dangerous Trump supporters are. Now why would you want to show the public how dangerous Trump supporters are? It's a helpful tool if one is trying to get people agitated over the deadly and dire circumstances President Trump and his supporters present.
Even groups generally opposed to the right have started to raise alarms about the growing thirst for violence on the left.
"I think we're in a time when we can’t ignore the extremism from the Left," said Oren Segal, the director of the Center on Extremism, an arm of the Anti-Defamation League. Over the past few months, the ADL, which hosts regular seminars on homegrown extremism for law enforcement officials, has begun warning of the rising threat posed by far-left groups, most recently at a seminar just this past Sunday. "When we have anti-fascist counterprotests -- not that they are the same as white supremacists - that can ratchet up the violence at these events, and it means we can see people who are violent on their own be attracted to that," Segal said. "I hate to say it, but it feels inevitable."
...
Left-wing extremism, of course, is nothing new. Groups like the Weather Underground and the Black Panthers have deep roots, and in the years after 9/11, Segal says, the largest source of extremist violence was from the Left: eco-terrorists and animal rights activists. But those later organizations mostly targeted institutions; in the modern era, politically motivated violence perpetrated by angry lone-wolf attackers bearing automatic rifles, of the sort carried out in Wednesday’s attack, has until now largely been a modus operandi of the far right.
Levin says that we're seeing a ratcheting up of political violence by the left (which, he claims, is mirroriing that of the right-- bullshit, of course) and that "nobody gives a shit."
Of course they don't, if you mean the media. The media has fomented leftist violence and made excuses for it after-the-fact at every turn.
