The Morning Report 5/16/17

Good morning, kids. Just another day ending in "Y" as the combined forces of the Establishment and the institutional Left continue their incessant "hock-a-chainik" of the Russia/Trump 2016 election theft and other attendant fairy tales. I mention this because it puts our lead story in a very "interesting" light; the local DC Fox affiliate is reporting that Seth Rich, the young Democrat National Committee staffer who was found dead under mysterious circumstances last year reportedly had contacts with Wikileaks. The latter as we all know exposed the actual election rigging going on. within the Democrat primaries that rigged the process to give Hillary the nomination. But the WaPo, affectionately known here as the National Laughingstock is publishing lies that H.R. McMaster and/or Rex Tillerson are sharing top secret intel with the Russians, and fueling the narrative that PDT must be impeached in order to save the country. In a not unrelated story, Newt Gingrich is calling for the president to just shutdown all press briefings. I would say, instead of shutting them down, he should shut out all propaganda organs. Better yet, riffing off of one of the commenters here yesterday, put monitors in each correspondent's chair and have President Trump answer a replay of the hard-hitting questions real news hounds like Steve Kroft gave to Obama. Other than that, I can't decide whether the Assad crematorium story is fake, but it is disturbing for obvious reasons. And Robert Spencer being poisoned by a Leftist in Iceland is a warning shot of what can happen here to strong voices of sanity and reason who dare speak out.
