Bill Nye Deletes Segment on Old Show Stating that Chromosomes Determine Sex

Apparently the #Science was settled when this was first broadcast, but now that there's a noisy political movement that engages in #SexChromosomeDenialism, the #Science is being altered and in fact retconned to comport with current political preferences.

So I need to know: Was the #Science settled then, or is the #Science settled now?

And if the #Science can so quickly go from settled to unsettled to replaced with a new #Science and re-settled, then why should anyone believe that any currently settled #Science is any more permanent and settled than this Abandoned Religious Myth about X and Y Chromosomes determining sex?

By the way, scientists have identified 6500 genes which appear the same in both men and women, but which express themselves differently depending on whether they're carried in a man or woman.

And what the man or woman feels he, she, or xe might be has no influence on this genetic expression at all.
