Nikki Haley: Rockin' It As Our UN Representative
Remarks at an Anti-Boycott, Divest, and Sanction Conference, "Build Bridges, Not Boycotts"
Wow! Nikki Haley is not pulling punches, and is returning America's voice at the UN to its traditional (and romanticized) role as a defender of freedom.
I have no idea why Trump chose her. But I like it!
And how tragic is it that, of all countries in the world to condemn for human rights violations, these voices choose to single out Israel. We should boycott North Korea. We should sanction Iran. We should divest from Syria, not Israel. It makes absolutely no sense. And it has no connection to any reasonable definition of justice.
It seems simple that we would support a liberal, pluralistic democracy, especially considering the neighborhood it is in. The savagery on display in every single one of the countries of the Middle East, with the obvious exception of Israel would, in a saner time, make the decision to defend it on the world stage an easy one. It is a measure of the lunacy and intellectual and moral decay of society that the Left and Islam has managed to convince much of the world that Israel...tiny, free, liberal Israel, is the root of all evil.
