Open Thread

So tired. I think it might happen tonight. (Sleep by 11 pm, I mean.)

I got nothing. Here's an article about a NYT reporter (male) calling Melania Trump a "hooker."

I'm not thrilled about the way this story came to be publicized. The model Emily Ratajkowski reported the NYT reporter for saying this in an apparently private conversation; the NYT confessed it happened, and "reprimanded" the reporter.

What the hell is that? Someone says something privately, you rat them out on social media, then their employer gets into their private business? A corporate master telling one what one may say or do on one's own time?

Eh, perhaps he was there covering an event for the paper. Even so-- come on. One does make private, idle chit-chat even while officially on the company's time.

But this is the world these monsters have created -- they should be the very first to suffer the cruelties and slaveries of it.
