"Protesters" Delay Ambulance Carrying Critically-Ill Patient to Hospital
Anti-Trump protesters in New Haven, Connecticut blocked a roadway and reportedly delayed an ambulance with a critically-ill patient from reaching the hospital in a timely manner.
The protest took place Saturday at New Haven's City Hall but eventually the protesters wandered onto the streets and blocked traffic. Video shows protesters wandering down the street amid cars and chanting "Whose streets? Our streets!
The person who was leading the march at one point tells protesters to block traffic saying, "No one gets by, unless it's an ambulance." But according to police the blocked streets did result in an ambulance being prevented from reaching the hospital.

Glenn Reynolds says it's time for a crackdown.
Whether or not Berkeley loses its federal funding over the Milo riots (and it won't), I think it's time for action to address this double standard. First, state and local law enforcement agencies need to target violent rioters who seek to silence speakers. It is a felony under federal civil rights law to conspire to deprive citizens of their constitutional rights, among which is free speech. In addition, many states have laws (generally called Klan laws) that punish people who engage in mob violence or intimidation while masked. These should be applied as well.
Second, perhaps it's time to have a Title IX-style law banning discrimination according to political viewpoints on campus. Many states (including California) already have laws banning discrimination in hiring and firing based on political viewpoints. Perhaps we need a federal civil rights law providing that colleges that receive federal funds (which is pretty much all of them) can lose those funds if they discriminate against students because of their political views.
It's also time for the FBI to create, revive, or reinforce (as the case may be) a task force to infiltrate, identify, and mass-arrest the ringleaders of violent and shut-down-style "protests." Start letting them cool their heels in jail for two or three years (or more) per infraction.
They might want to contact James O'Keefe for a heads-up on where to start their dragnet.
Round up the unusual suspects.
BTW: If you're wondering where the term "heads-up" came from -- I mean, sure you take some guesses, but do you know? I didn't myself -- this Wall Street Journal article I just looked up says it arose in baseball, just meaning "Look sharply, fly ball overhead."
Oh, and this is pretty amusing.
